Just wrapped up an interesting project for a client in the crypto space, and I learned a lot along the way! 🎉 They needed some animated emojis for Telegram, and I thought, “No problem, I’ve got this!” They even sent an advance payment, so I dove right in.
But here’s where it got tricky... the emojis were for Telegram, which has some serious limitations with .tgs files, and the client only had PNGs! After some brainstorming, I suggested we go with .webm format, which has fewer restrictions. Got their approval, created the animations in a day, and thought everything was good to go.
Then, exporting gave me all sorts of issues with the alpha channel not working properly! 😩 I spent two whole days trying to figure it out, searching forums, watching tutorials—nothing worked. Until I realized... Telegram automatically removes the alpha channel, so there’s no need to mess with it! 🤦♂️
It was a learning curve, but I finally got everything working perfectly. 💪 Sometimes the biggest lessons come from those unexpected challenges!
