🗞️ Breaking: A Curling Ice Sheet Hits North Sydney 🥌

The Brief:

As the official broadcast partner for the Winter Olympics, Channel Nine wanted to bring the energy and atmosphere of the Games into their office environment ahead of the opening ceremony. The aim was to create something immersive, fun and unmistakably Winter Olympics.

The Solution:

The space was crying out for a statement piece, so we designed and installed a full-length curling ice sheet through the heart of the office. Delivered in time for the opening ceremony, the installation transformed the workplace into a winter-inspired environment and became a central feature of the broader office branding takeover.

The Outcome:

With the Nine team living and breathing the Games throughout the broadcast period, the curling ice sheet added excitement, engagement and a real sense of occasion to the workspace. It brought the spirit of the Winter Olympics inside and created an environment that energised the people working behind the scenes to deliver the Games to viewers across Australia.

Short weeks, big deadlines.

Easter and Anzac Day always seem to bring the perfect storm—tight timelines, short weeks, and urgent projects that land just on the edge of the holidays.

2025 has been no exception for us at 1800 Projects We’ve powered through the break and are heading into a full working week with a packed schedule—rolling out activation builds for beer brands, backpacks, and everything in between.

It’s the kind of challenge we thrive on but as a business owner I’m looking forward to having our full team back on deck and seeing the motor run on all cylinders!

Here’s to momentum, creativity under pressure, and delivering top-tier work—no matter the calendar.

Such a fun one to be part of as Wicked-fever swept the world, we produced custom made neon acrylic castles, pink and green window wrap with a bubble effect in the centre of each printed on ultra clear to achieve the perfect translucent effect and custom printed flooring to bring to life the Camilla x Wicked collab.

Short Track (for kids)
Short Track race designed just for kids! This event combines thrilling obstacles with friendly competition, creating a memorable experience for all young riders.

JUMP COMP
Jumps Event, designed for riders of all ages up to 18 years. Whether you're just starting out or you're an experienced jumper, there's a level for everyone to enjoy.
