Myrtle House, rebuilt on WordPress. We redesigned the site to match the standard of a five-generation racing brand with a stronger structure and a better flow

Some of the changes:
🔹 Reworked the design with a dark green and cream palette, sharper typography, and larger imagery
🔹 Turned long text sections into a timeline with key stats that people can scan in seconds
🔹 Moved ownership enquiries and contact details to the top of the site
🔹 Simplified the ownership process into four clear steps
🔹 Built editable WordPress blocks for news, FAQs, testimonials, and featured horses

We also integrated Myrtle House’s internal horse listing system through an API.

When the team updates a horse in their system, the website updates on its own.

Excited to share a recent project we worked on for PeatsBite, a waterfront dining and accommodation venue on the Hawkesbury River.

A well-loved venue with a website that didn’t reflect the quality of the experience it offers. Broken image sections, a generic layout, and no clear conversion pathways were limiting their online performance.

Our approach focused on three priorities:

1. Brand elevation

We developed a bold dark & warm gold visual identity, replacing the flat beige palette with something that communicates luxury and place.

2. Content architecture

We restructured the site into clearly differentiated service pillars, each with dedicated storytelling and dual CTAs.

3. Photography-led design

By prioritising full-bleed imagery of the food, waterfront setting, and venue, we let the experience sell itself.

The goal was to make the website feel closer to what it’s like to actually be there.

The result is a site that converts visitors into customers and gives the venue the presence it deserves.

The work gets better when you push the conversation deeper.

Who are you selling to? What are you selling? Why should anyone care?

If the CEO can’t answer that clearly, the design will drift no matter how good it looks.

You can’t just rely on templates or shortcuts. You need to think past colors and fonts and get to the core of the business.

Start there.

If you want to run a viable business over the next few years, you need to be raising the bar.

Doing “good enough” work isn’t going to cut it anymore.

Not pushing new ideas, new standards, new ways of doing is just training the AI on average work.
