Kick back and watch some lofi content of me trying my darndest to clean up an old neglected vintage zoom lens.
I've always loved the lens but the amount of crap built up meant the image was just way too bloomy. A fresh clean made it one of my favourite lenses now and I'm already stoked on some of the results I've seen on some shorts I've shot on it recently.

The second episode of my Artist Documentary Series, where I unravel the stories of why artists make art for the sake of it.

This piece showcases my partner Ellen. I've been in a relationship with her for 9 years now, so I'm certainly biased in saying she's one of the most incredible artists that I know.

Her art stems from her own inner child, daydreaming about mystical worlds which blend with her modern experience with femininity and unwavering desire to create in a world lacking real authentic human touch.

Creating this piece served as a wonderful exercise for us both in communicating the level of depth she possesses both as a person and within her work.

WHAT EVA MAKES | Hand Crafted Jewellery Artist Documentary

The first of my Artist Documentary Series, where I unravel the stories of why and how artists create.

This short piece showcases Eva.
They create unique, one-off pieces of jewellery by hand through various methods. I got one of her chunkier styled rings and absolutely love it.

I really enjoyed creating this. Something about the slower pace and casual direction felt right. I'd be super excited to make more of these. So if you know someone or are that someone and you want your story told - hit me up!

Stoked on some of the great projects showcasing and the run-and-gun type content I've created for them.
Super minimal lighting - if not all natural was a wonderful challenge to keep things fast. We managed to strike gold with all natural light coming through an old building next to in that first frame - was so stoked.

Always a laugh working with these legends and keen to see them keep on growing 💪

Date: 16th or 17th of July
Location: Sydney area (specific location to be finalised)
Work: Half day acting and delivering lines to camera then another hour afterwards recording narration

Incredibly excited to share that the web series I shot and edited alongside - has won a silver award!

The series was incredibly fulfilling - full creative liberty, a focus on climate awareness and elements of comedy. Truly a golden trio.

What a wonderfully spontaneous opportunity to come on board for over a year and get to work alongside so many incredibly wonderful people

I will forever be grateful and miss the crew dearly.
