I’ve been quietly mentoring junior marketers for a while now. Some came through the brands I work with. Some just slid into my DMs asking for help.

Now I’m opening it up 🪩🪩

Junior marketers learn tools fast. Judgement takes longer. That’s the part I teach.
How marketing actually makes money.
Why people buy.
How to write a brief, run a launch, report on what matters, and present it to the founder or senior leadership with confidence.

Two ways in:
For businesses. Bring me in to mentor your junior marketing team. They learn on your real briefs and campaigns, and you see the progress.

For students and grads. Work with me 1:1 on your portfolio, interviews, career path or simply how you want to up skill your marketing knowledge!

Ongoing mentoring or a one off 1:1. Your call.

17+ years across Apple, PUMA, EA Sports and WHO IS ELIJAH. Now in your corner.

New spots opening.
Application only.

A little chrome, a lot of 💡…. The absolute necessities I keep close while building STATE OF BRAND because the details always matter & I cannot function without x4 Monster Energy a day 🤪

September, you were a lot 🌪️

I created a ridiculous amount of content, took the stage at The Social Summit to talk brand marketing, recorded a few podcasts and led a brand marketing workshop for the Flight Risk and FONE KING teams at HQ 🪩

We launched the get__moody YAP Challenge, where I kicked things off with a workshop for founders before 30 days of posting our yaps 🎙️
I also launched my own Substack - a new home for my longer thoughts on brands, culture, personal branding and why some brands become impossible to ignore.

Behind the scenes, I worked across events, brand strategies, product launches, online presence and personal brands for founders and creators. There are also a few things happening that I’ll be able to share soon 👀👀

STATE OF BRAND signed four brilliant new clients. I’m working through a waitlist and developing a new service offering that I’m very excited to share - link in bio to be in the room first 🔗

I worked an objectively unhinged number of hours, still made it to the gym every day and finished the soccer season with a grand final ❤️‍🔥

Full calendar. Full heart. Very tired.

Loved every second.

October, let’s go. ⚡️

Being seen gets you into the conversation. It doesn’t make you the choice…

The brands people ask for by name give them a reason to care and make that reason recognisable. In the words they use, the way they show up and the experience they deliver after someone closes the app.

If your brand looks great on the feed but feels different everywhere else, you’re borrowing attention, not building preference.

What would someone remember about your brand if they couldn’t see your logo? 👀

A series for the CREATORS 🪩

I’m taking you to the other side of the pitch: the brand marketer reviewing your content and deciding whether to sign or work with you.

First up your feed is your pitch deck. Before a brand replies to your email, someone is looking at your point of view, the quality of your ideas, how naturally products fit into your world, and what your audience comes to you for.

You don’t need a perfect aesthetic or to look like everyone else. You need to make your value easy to understand and what’s your niche and who you’re talking to…

I’ll be sharing the brand side perspective on pitches, briefs, partnerships and what l gets a creator picked.

My DMs are always open 💬🩶

You can copy a product. You can’t copy a brand world 🌍

Same cotton. Same coffee. Same bottle. One sells for double.

The difference isn’t what’s inside. It’s everything around it. How it looks. How it’s spoken about. How it makes people feel when they own it.

That’s what people pay more for. And it’s the one thing a competitor can’t copy 👀 !!!

Trying to be everything to everyone? That’s how you become nothing to no one.

Global brands don’t need your reach. L’Oréal, CeraVe, Apple etc already have it. What they can’t buy is authentic access to your niche.

CeraVe couldn’t crack Gen Z skincare until Hyram did. Dunkin’ couldn’t own “cool” until Charli did. None of them went broad, they went specific enough to be irreplaceable.

Name your niche. Own your room 🤌🏽🌪️
