It is always a pleasure to pull together a project for an education institution. Working with the Liverpool Polish Saturday School to promote their unique programs to the Polish diaspora of Sydney has been a fulfilling experience.

As a person who went through Polish language school as a child, I wanted to ensure this design was engaging and markedly different to other stylised “Polish” collateral.

While discussing the vision with principal Ewelina Ellsmore, she mentioned that she wanted her material to highlight play based learning, which has resulted in a colourful website, flyers, posters, and social media pages.

✨CELEBRATING TWO YEARS OF RENATA ART DESIGN✨

Two years ago I took a big scary step and established RENATA ART DESIGN - and this past year has provided me with some epic highs, as well as some interesting hiccups in business and health (thanks near death experience to really appreciate life). With each experience, I have learnt important lessons and have embraced deep learning.

While reflecting upon the past year, I realised that I have worked with so many wonderful people on some amazing projects. I have had the opportunity to curate two exhibitions including one a historic NSW Parliament House (and a few more exhibitions in the works - watch this space!); launch three art websites including a platform for art lessons and resources; facilitate 11 public programs; establish the brand guidelines for many businesses and arts organisations. I too was honoured with a Legislative Council Notice of Motion by the Hon. Robert Borsak for my contributions to presenting “Sydney Through a Migrant’s Palette” by Basia Zielinska at NSW Parliament House - this experience was surreal! When I see all of this as a whole, it brings joy to my heart that I have been able to reach so many in a creative manner.

Thank you to all who have supported me through all my exciting curatorial ventures, latest design projects, art musings, marketing campaigns, and everything else in between. I want to also give a big shout out to my husband for his unwavering support with each venture - Alex you have been my rock this year - thank you.

RENATA ART DESIGN is a tiny bespoke agency that is passionate about creating an arts community that is vibrant, impactful, and significant. Since I was a small girl, I knew that I could create magic in the art world; and here we are ensuring a positive and magical experience for artists, galleries, festivals, and cultural institutions.

Thank you for embarking on this journey with me, and I look forward to sharing many more inspiring moments with you all and all the exciting projects lined up!
