This past “Kong” weekend (King’s Birthday Long Weekend), I spent time discovering the wonderfully historic streets of Braidwood. Quirky street art was scattered about, gorgeous historical landmarks were abundant, but most fascinating was the gem that is the Braidwood Museum and the collection of significant artefacts ranging from Indigenous pieces, to colonial heritage, to the bush ranger history, and the significant Asian cultural collection. The friendly staff were extremely knowledgeable and provided us with so much more. Ensure to ask for a town map when you visit.
Braidwood is an understated location, and a must visit when traversing regional NSW.
