Facebook will soon allow users to place a video as their profile picture. The new functionality is set to be introduced as part of a raft of new tools designed to allow people to personalise their profile in new and exciting ways. "The world has changed since we first introduced profiles in 2004," wrote Aigerim Shorman and Tony Hsieh, product managers at the social network. "Soon, you’ll be able to film a short, looping video clip that will play for anyone who visits your profile.”
