The hustle is hard.

But still 100% better than hustling hard for someone else 🫢

10/04/2026

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again.

Get clear on your product and your customer, and move fast.

“I just need to wait until the economy gets better”
“I need to wait until my Instagram following gets bigger”
“I need to wait until I get new photos”

Stop.

If you believe in your product and you believe in the solution you have, don’t wait for perfect.

Get live and get going.

Your customer is out there, and they’ve already waited too long.

The last 10 years in e-commerce have changed everything.

How we build websites.
How we market them.
How we consume information.
How people decide what to buy.

It’s been one of the fastest shifts I’ve ever seen in any industry.

And I’ve been in it the whole time—
Building, testing, learning, trying to keep up… and always trying to stay ahead.

These lessons didn’t come from theory.
They came from being in it every day.

Watching what works.
Watching what doesn’t.
Watching how quickly things change.

But through all of that, one thing has stayed the same:

The customer is the most important.

Not the tech, or the trends.
Not the “next big thing”.

The customer.

What they want.
What they need.
And how easily they can get it.

That’s what actually matters.

What most people don’t realise about Shopify…

It’s not actually hard.

it’s only hard when you haven’t been showing how all the pieces fit together.

It’s like a carpenter being asked to construct a piece of furniture, without a plan, without a blueprint and without never having seen what the furniture looks like in the first place.

So you sign up, open the dashboard, and start clicking around.

Then the questions start…

Do I pick a theme first?
Upload products?
Do I need branding sorted?
What pages do I actually need?

They won’t give you a clear answer.

So you try to figure it out yourself, and hit the first YouTube result that pops up after you searched “build a Shopify store” on Google.

You watch tutorials.
Install apps.
Tweak things as you go.

And get nowhere, but lost, fast.

Not because you’re not capable.

But because you don’t have a structure to follow.

When I build Shopify stores for clients, I don’t guess.

There’s a clear order:

Brand → Structure → Theme → Pages → Products → Setup → Launch

Every single time.

But that’s the gap.

And that’s exactly what I’ve built my new program around.

Not more YouTube.

Just a clear step-by-step build you can actually follow, and with me right there by your side.

If you’re stuck trying to piece it together:

Most people think small business clients are the hardest to work with.

Late payments.
Too many changes.
“Fussy.”

That’s what I hear all the time.

But after over a year of only working with small biz, I don’t see it.

Over 400,000 businesses were started in Australia last financial year alone 🤯

My market isn’t saturated.
It’s underserved.

Agencies don’t want to deal with them.
They overquote them.
They overcomplicate everything.

So of course small business owners feel unsure.
Of course they ask questions.
Of course they want to get it right.

This is their money.
Their risk.
Their livelihood.

When you actually take care of them —
when you communicate properly,
when you guide them,
when you give them something that actually works…

They trust you.

My clients don’t micromanage me.
They don’t ask for endless changes.

Because they know I care about their business
as much as I care about my own.

And that’s the part most people miss.

I don’t just work with small businesses.

I chose them.

Because I believe in them.
And because this industry has been underserving them for way too long.

Pick your audience.
Pick your market.
Pick your person.

24/03/2026

Because right now, what I see is:
people watching hours of content,
installing random apps,
copying other stores…

…and still feeling stuck.

Because they’re doing too much of the wrong things.

And generally, that’s where people will give up.

That’s what I’m fixing with my program.

It’s not just another “step-by-step” course.

I’m building everything that shows you:
what actually matters,
what doesn’t,
and how to build a store that makes sense to you as a business owner and to your customers from day one.

23/03/2026

And I know…
you’re probably rolling your eyes already.

“Brand, niche, messaging.”

Sounds basic.
But if you don’t get these right, nothing else matters.

1️⃣ Niche
If you’re trying to sell to everyone, you’re connecting with no one.

Your customer doesn’t need another general dropshipper that doesn’t care.

They want someone who actually solves their problem.
Someone who understands what they’re going through.

Broad stores feel lazy.
Specific stores feel intentional.

2️⃣ Brand
Your brand is what makes someone trust you — or leave.

It’s not your logo.
It’s not your colours.

It’s the feeling your store gives instantly.

Next time you scroll your homepage, ask yourself:
Would I trust this with my money?
Does this feel legit?
Is this actually for me?

If you have to think about it, your customer already left.

3️⃣ Messaging
You’re not being clever. You’re being unclear.

Outside of making a purchase, don’t give your customer more work
by trying to figure out what you’re about.

It’s not clever.
It’s confusing.

Make it as easy as possible.

What is it?
Who is it for?
Why does it matter?

The market isn’t saturated.
And your idea isn’t s**t.

You just haven’t answered the right questions
your customer is already asking.

Don’t build it for you.
Build it for them.

No matter how hard I plan for it, block out time on my calendar, get dressed up for the day—it just never seems to work out how I planned 🤔

20/03/2026

It’s certainly tough out here 🥵

Averaging 3-5 likes. And usually the only comment is mine 😂

Starting a business = wearing all the hats.

I also think people forget that you can see who has watched your stories too…. 👀
