🚀 WordPress 7.0 is here — and it's the biggest release since the block editor in 2018.

Here's what's new:
- Native AI integration built into core (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini — configure once, works across every compatible plugin)
- A proper admin redesign — DataViews replaces the old List Tables
- PHP-only block registration, no JavaScript required
- Custom CSS per block, directly from the sidebar
- Embedded YouTube/Vimeo backgrounds in the Cover block

This is Phase 3 of the Gutenberg roadmap — Collaboration. WordPress is evolving from a publishing tool into a full team workflow platform.

As the year comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on the projects and partnerships that shaped 2025. A year with lots of ups and downs but one where I learnt a lot, especially as a sole-trader and business owner.
