Shopify website for stunning floral ceiling installations🤍

The main objective for the new Fleur Events website was to not only showcase their products but to also help their team with the ordering and payment process.

After hours of testing their website can now;
✔️ accept deposit payments
✔️ automatically create new orders in Xero
✔️automatically send deposit and final invoices from Xero
✔️send reminders for upcoming payments

Such an awesome project to be apart of. Thanks Fleur Events!

4 reasons why you need to register your .AU domain 🇦🇺

1️⃣ The new .AU extension allows for opportunistic cybercriminals to impersonate your business if they register the name before you do!

2️⃣ Thanks to automatic geo-targeting a country code top-level domain (ccTLD) will organically rank higher in search engine results the closer a person is to your business.

3️⃣ In the last few years there has been a HUGE push towards shopping locally. Stand out to those consumers who go out of their way to support local businesses.

4️⃣ Short and sweet is always best and memorable, don't let your domain name be any different.

This question isn't so straightforward and can sometimes come down to personal preference or domain availability.

However the general idea is if you are an Australian based business wanting to grow your online presence and engage with Australians digitally then domains like .COM.AU or .AU are the way to go as;

✅ AU domain names will show up higher in local search engine results

✅ Australian reserved domain adds an extra layer credibility

Don't forget to register for the new .AU extension before the 20th of September, 2022.

Next minute, we gave his website a complete refresh to incorporate his new fonts, brand colours and tone of voice 🥳

Let's face it, we Australians—I mean, Aussies—love to shorten our words 🇦🇺

As of last month we can now do the same with domain names by dropping the .COM with the new .AU extension.

Thankfully a 6 month Priority Application Period (March-September) has been put into place for those with an existing .COM.AU, .NET.AU, .ORG.AU, .GOV.AU or .EDU.AU extension to have priority when registering their new .AU domain.

By this I mean if you own eg) yourdomain.com.au or yourdomain.net.au you will have first dibs on registering yourdomain.au.

So my advice, protect your identity and register your domains .AU extension NOW 🏃‍♂️ because as of 20 September 2022 any Tom, Dick, and Harry will be able to register it in the same way domain names are registered today!
