What a week spent down in Victoria for the 2026 Boolah Trial Farm Field Day!

This was Boolah’s first Field Day in VIC, and we couldn’t be more thrilled! With 150 at the VIP Night and more than 300 attendees for the Field Day it was fabulous to see so many faces!

The GRO Team was proud to provide end-to-end event management, communications, PR, marketing, sponsor and speaker management 🙌

AI isn't coming for all things.

It can write the summaries, save you hours and keep every detail straight (and, yes - we think Claude is amazing). What it can't do is sit across from a farmer and hear what they just solved on-farm. It can't give you goosebumps the way someone sharing their real ups and downs can. And it can't know your audience the way someone in the thick of it does.

Yes, we love AI. We also know nothing replaces real connection — and in agriculture, that matters more than ever.

We're so excited to share that Clare Carter, who joined us early this year, has now come on board full time at GRO! So we thought it was worth a re-introduction to our followers.

When it comes to a holiday she's torn between Europe and Yamba, and if you're visiting Tamworth her tip is dinner, drinks and a hit of tennis at — never misses. Her fave GRO project so far? Scone Race Club Fashions, so much fun. And her karaoke go-to, always Bette Davis Eyes 🎤

She's joy bottled and we are so grateful she's on team GRO! Keep an eye out for Clare — you'll love her!

Tamworth’s CBD is about to light up again. ✨

The Tamworth Chamber and Tamworth Business Collective are joining forces to bring City of Lights back to life, a free two-night festival across Peel Street, Fitzroy Plaza and Bicentennial Park.

Under the theme Land and Light, the festival connects Tamworth’s history as one of the first towns in the Southern Hemisphere to get electric street lighting with First Nations cultural storytelling.

City of Lights kicks off a bigger push to bring Tamworth’s CBD to life after dark, with the monthly Light Up Late series following from October.

What have a I learnt in the past 6 months on maternity leave? (hold down for 2x to make me speak even quicker 😂)

✅ Money is scarce but cash is king. Make a brilliant program. Engage the right audience. Align it with sponsors - and meet them where they’re at- give them love and deliver well.
✅ AEO > SEO . Media landscape is changing, spend is needed. Citations on Answer Engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini etc) are based on trust through authoritative and trusted media channels. PR needs to hit the mark.
✅ Shake the trees. Stick with those loyal clients, deliver well, be reliable.
✅ Who you work with makes it possible. Thank you Hol, Luce, Clare, Kayla, Andy, Hayley, Iz and everyone who has supported me and GRO for the past 7 months ❤️
