In-person events are having a resurgence - but the best ones are not generic. ✨

They are specific.
They are considered.
They understand their audience.

The most memorable events now are the ones that feel intentional, creative and worth leaving the house for.

They create a reason for people to show up in person. 🤝

At GRO Events Group, we specialise in creating and delivering events that feel purposeful, polished and grounded in the communities they serve.

From the logistics and communications to the creative details and guest experience, we care about the full picture! 🩷

Because the magic of an event is not just getting people in the room.

It’s making that room feel worth being in. ✨

Happy World Milk Day 🌏🥛

Today, we celebrate the dairy industry and the incredible work that happens behind the scenes to produce quality dairy products enjoyed by families across Australia and around the world.

At GRO, this day has a special connection. Dim’s family in Scone has been part of the dairy industry for many years, and it is something that has shaped her deep respect for the people, businesses and communities behind Australian agriculture. From early mornings and long days to care of calves, quality production and constant resilience, dairy farming is built on an enormous amount of dedication and love of the cows.

We’re proud to work alongside and support the hardworking individuals and businesses that help drive the Australian dairy industry forward. Their commitment, innovation and resilience continue to strengthen one of our nation’s most important agricultural sectors.

Here’s to celebrating dairy and the people who make it possible every day. 🐄

Four years running, and the Scone Horse Festival never gets old. 🐎

In its 46th year, the 2026 Warburton Estate Agents Scone Horse Festival was everything the Upper Hunter does best - and we were proud to be part of it. From sponsorship management and graphic design to social media, PR and communications, our team gave it everything they had. 💙

Working alongside the Festival committee, sponsors, media partners and regional stakeholders to celebrate the people, horses, businesses and traditions of this region is genuinely one of the highlights of our year. 💚

Thank you to Scone Horse Festival Committee for continuing to trust GRO with something so loved by this community. Four years in, and it’s still a privilege. 🩷

We’re growing! 🌱

GRŌ is on the hunt for a Communications Coordinator who loves a full plate, a good system, and rural Australia just as much as we do.

If you can write a cracking media release, schedule a week of content, wrangle a client brief AND know the difference between a Jersey and a Holstein (or a Merino and a Dorper) — we might just be your people.

Fully remote. Full-time. Full of good work. 🌾

What a privilege it has been to be part of the 2026 Scone Racing Carnival. 🏇

Across both days of the Carnival, the GRO team was proud to provide communications and marketing, silent auction coordination (pre-event), and Fashions on the Field coordination and management for Scone Race Club.

In its 80th year, the Scone Racing Carnival once again set the benchmark for regional racing events in Australia — and the atmosphere across both days was nothing short of spectacular.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible Fashions on the Field sponsors — Arrowfield Stud, Travel Solutions Scone, Hunter Belle Dairy, Jack's Creek Warehouse, SportsPower Scone, Lauren St Clair Skin & Beauty, Scone Newsagency, Ruby’s Girl, Chocolate & Moss, Lion Beverages, Goldies - Designer Dress Hire and Scone Race Club. We also sincerely appreciate our judges - Meredith, Hamish, Michael, Jane and Jim! ❤️

We know how hard the current economic climate is, and the generosity of each and every one of you made it possible to bring back an occasion that is so loved by this community. And we couldn’t help but smile knowing that both of our Best Dressed Lady winners had purchased pieces right here in Scone for their winning outfits — that says it all. 💚

A huge thank you to our incredible GRO team — Clare and Lucy who were on the ground across the Carnival, and Holly who kept things running seamlessly from behind the scenes remotely. And a very special mention to Dim, who ducked in on maternity leave — Albie in tow — to personally manage Fashions on the Field. Now that’s dedication! 👶🏻💙

Congratulations to Scone Race Club, all connections, sponsors, volunteers and the wider Scone community on an exceptional two days. We are proud to play a part in bringing it to life.
