Gabapentin For Dogs: Know The Risks
Its not one I would ever take and nor will Monty.
Whenever I notice doctors and veterinarians prescribing a drug, I like to research it well, and also look at others who have researched them. Dr Josie Beug Dvm is one vet I've learned a lot from. Have a read of her perspective here, and she has also written about this drug on her Substack.

Natural remedies and treatments can often work wonders. But if your dog’s in chronic pain and you have to resort to drugs … be very careful about what you allow your vet to prescribe.

There are professionals you can reach out to, our community group resources are there for you.

Vets still prescribe gabapentin for dogs to treat pain ... but it doesn't make the pain better and can cause some serious side effects ...

Dog leads longer than two metres have been banned in a city in northern France.
The rule was introduced in Saint-Quentin, Hauts-de-France, in July, with owners facing a €150 (£130) fine if they ignore it.
