Are you obsessed with indoor plants or are you an alien?
^ the opening line of .au’s March EDM.
Soph’s requested topic:
Our fave. Email marketing.
So why exactly were we talking about indoor plants and aliens?
Because email marketing and indoor plants have more in common than meets the eye.
It isn’t enough to head to Bunnings, fill your trolley with greenery and live happily ever after.
Just like it’s not enough to collect emails from people but never actually email them.
What happens if you don’t water your plants??? Shocker horror: They die.
(I’m kinda an expert on the topic)
And what happens when you don’t communicate with your email list?…
…They go to the dark, dead-end place also know as…
…The lost-sales-graveyard. 💀
‘Cause you ghosted them (!!)
All those people who so kindly invited you into their little corner of email land. Neglected.
Moral of the story:
1. Ghost your indoor plants and their little plant souls go to greenery heaven.
2. Ghost your email list and you’re sending sales to rest in peace.
If it’s time to get the humans out of the graveyard, the good news is, they’re not dead (but they do need some email marketing CPR)
Send me a DM for more info.
Disclaimer: This is my best friends plant.
She’s great at all the things I’m not (plant mumming, domestic duties, not spilling food all over herself every time she eats ect ect)
