A campaign win worth sharing.

We recently partnered with Hunter Manufacturing Awards to run their first paid LinkedIn campaign, designed to drive more of the right people to the HMA website ahead of the 2026 awards.

Across the campaign reporting period, we achieved:
88,149 impressions
2,796 website visits
3.17% average click-through rate
$0.72 average cost per click

On top of these numbers, by testing different creative formats and messaging, we were able to see what was really resonating with the HMA audience, and use those insights to guide the campaign as it progressed.

Being the first paid LinkedIn campaign for this client, those learnings are especially valuable. We now have solid insights around our audience targeting and the messaging and creative that resonates, giving us a much stronger foundation to build on for future campaigns.

Thank you to the Hunter Manufacturing Awards for trusting Rise with the campaign. We loved helping shine a bigger spotlight on the Awards night that recognises and celebrates the manufacturers in our region.

Coming home to ourselves. 😌

I’ve been a member of Gen Collective for a while now, but somehow this year was my first Level Up Conference, and it really didn’t disappoint.

The whole day felt like an invitation to invest some time back into ourselves. Growth, mindset, finances and wealth, empowerment, self-awareness… there was truly something for everyone.

I’ve spent some time thinking about my ‘biggest takeaway’ from the day (do we all do that?) and I kept coming back to the first session of that day.

Janessa Douglass presented ‘Who Am I, Really? Rediscovering yourself beneath the roles, expectations and noise’, and perhaps because of where I’m at in life right now, it really landed.

It was an opportunity to properly pause. To think about who we are underneath all the things we accumulate along the way; expectations, achievements, pressure, roles, fear.

To, as Janessa put it, “come home to ourselves”.

Four thoughts from the session have stayed with me:

~ Identity is learned before it is questioned.
~ Curiosity changes everything.
~ Your worth has never been up for negotiation.
~ Self-trust is a skill.
(That last one in particular. Ooft.)

If you’re in a season where you’ve been feeling a little disconnected from yourself, maybe there’s something in those four thoughts for you too.

A huge thank you to Gen Collective for creating a space for women to learn, connect and give something back to themselves, and to the incredible line-up of speakers and panellists who so generously shared with us.

And a special mention to the MC of all MCs, AJ Alexandria Joy - What a woman.

I walked away with a very full cup. 💖

Brand guide, style guide…same thing, right?

Not exactly.

While they work hand-in-hand, they each play a different role in keeping your brand consistent, recognisable and unmistakably you.

In our latest blog, we’re breaking down the difference between the two, what each should include, and why your business might need both.

What can an SEO & Competitor Analysis actually tell you about your business? (hint: a lot more than just which keywords to use.)

Before you invest in your website, create content, launch campaigns or even refine your messaging, it's worth understanding where your business sits in the market.

Our SEO & Competitor Analysis is designed to do exactly that.

We take a deep dive into:

• What your ideal customers are searching for online
• High-value keywords with genuine buying intent
• How your competitors are positioning themselves
• Gaps in the market you can confidently own
• Your website and content opportunities
• How your website should be structured for both search engines and real people
• Content opportunities that help build your authority over time
• The messaging and language that will help your business stand out

The result is a clear strategy you can use to make informed marketing decisions.

Some clients use it as the foundation for a new website. Others use it to improve an existing site, guide their content marketing, refine their SEO strategy or simply gain a better understanding of where they sit in their industry.

Your Google Business Profile is often the first impression potential customers have of your business. When someone searches for products or services in your area, Google wants to show businesses with accurate, active and up-to-date information.

A few minutes spent updating your profile can help you improve your visibility in local search and make it easier for customers to choose you.

Here's a quick checklist:

✔️ Check your business hours (especially if you have seasonal or holiday closures coming up)
✔️ Make sure your phone number, website and email address are correct
✔️ Add recent photos of your team, products, services or completed projects
✔️ Update your business description, services and any new offerings
✔️ Share regular updates about promotions, news or events
✔️ Respond to your latest customer reviews (and encourage happy clients to leave one!)

Whether you're a local café, a tradie, a professional service or a retail business, keeping your Google Business Profile active is one of the simplest ways to improve your local online presence.
