Waterfalls in parks are popular places for viewing and taking photos. While beautiful to see, they can pose risks to unprepared visitors.

We wanted to see the waterfalls, but mist! Slippery rocks, steep slopes and undercurrents can catch you by surprise when walking through or in the vicinity of a waterfall.

What’s the rush? (Besides the water.) If you’re exploring a waterfall, make sure to know the potential hazards. Keep a safe distance from the edge, avoid slippery rocks, wear stable shoes (flippy floppies may lead to slippy sloppies) and always watch your footing.

The idea to launch Charmed Digital came in mid-2020 after I witnessed a boom in the number of mums starting new businesses from home.

This was possibly due to COVID-19 causing upheaval in their world and them wanting something to do during isolation (when they weren’t home-schooling - gah!).

I noticed a recurring issue where most of these mums had the passion and drive to get their business off the ground but struggled when it came to the marketing of their products / services online.

Prior to launching, I could often be found in a wide assortment of business-related Facebook groups, answering the same questions about websites, social media and SEO over and over.

I soon realised this was obviously a service these women needed so why not create a business around it?

I had the skills, experience and after resigning from my full-time role at a digital marketing agency, I had the time – and so Charmed Digital was born!

Today, my business has grown and I now have an assortment of satisfied clients who value my creativity, expertise and personal touch.

I truly feel a sense of fulfillment knowing I am helping other small business owners succeed in the digital world.

So, I've created a prototype for a digital product in Google Sheets and I'd love some feedback on whether its a viable product and whether I could eventually sell it for different industries.

The gist is, you store hashtags in a "bank" and can create individual hashtag groups for your Instagram posts. This allows you to mix it up for each post (which helps grow your followers) and prevents you from using the same hashtags over and over.

The product will come pre-populated with 120 researched hashtags across various categories specific to your industry - you simply check the box next to the relevant hashtag you'd like to use and it will automatically appear in the set box at the bottom.

When you've chosen all the hashtags you'd like (up to 30), you right-click on the set and choose copy then paste in your caption. You can also add your own for brand or product / service specific hashtags.

It's so easy to use and saves you from having to research hashtags for each post. Although, one con is you can't really use it from your phone as it would be way too fiddly. Oh, and it's butt ugly but I'll be prettying it up if it's viable!
