Your food photos need to tell a story.

Don't get me wrong, I love a drool-worthy food pic as much as the next foodie, but these days they just don't cut it.

The vibe I always try to capture when taking pics at The Wayzgoose Diner is "funky retro diner with the best comfort food in Leura that's run by a rockstar and her tribe of legends" 🎉

That's the Wayzgoose story, as far as I'm concerned.

My job when I'm taking photos is simply to attract customers who are looking for what Wayzgoose does best.

And that's the difference between content people scroll past and content that brings the *right* customers through the door 🍽️ 📸 💕

Sharron Mountain is a ceramic artist and educator based in Faulconbridge.

I had the pleasure of photographing her large, light-filled studio late last year. I've been a fan of Sharron's work for a long time, so spending time with her and getting to see her beautiful work up close was an absolute treat.

Just a reminder to all the artists out there 💕

AI is obviously changing the digital and physical world right now. There is some truly crazy s**t going on that sometimes feels really scary.

We all (well, maybe not all, but definitely most of us) need to embrace AI and use it as a tool. Use it for tasks you dislike, like admin, IT, and accounting. Let it be your proofreader when appropriate. Let it tell you something funny if you need a giggle.

AI is built to recognise patterns from the past. It can recombine what already exists, but it can't truly invent something entirely new.

The world needs art, authenticity, and expression now more than ever before.

Your ideas are what make your art unique. The passion you bring to the process of developing and executing. That inbuilt drive you have to create, share and inspire.

AI cannot take that away from you ✨

2025 was a big, busy year full of ups and downs ☀️

It was a super fulfilling year creatively and I managed to score my dream foodie gig. I can honestly say I only work with people and brands I adore these days.

I also became the mother to 2 teenage girls, got my heart broken and got to experience the magic that was live.

Massive shoutout to some of the people & businesses who made my year what it was including .skincare , as well as my sunshine & laugh givers & , and my 15 year old daughter who would rather die than be tagged in this 😆

22026 is going to be epic. I cant wait 💕
