It's New Year Introduction time! 😅
My name is Steph, and I'm the founder of Capture Blue Mountains - a social media marketing and content creation business based in (yes, you guessed it!) the stunning Blue Mountains.
My small business is turning 5 this year, which kinda blows my mind. Back when I started I was working as a Marketing Assistant and I decided to start my own business when my Osteopath told me he was looking for a social media manager. Cheers, 🙏🏼
I studied Electronic and Temporal Arts at Sydney College of the Arts back in the late 90s and I've been working in film & video editing on and off ever since. I used to primarily edit on Avid (any other dinosaurs out there remember those cumbersome beasts!?) and Final Cut Pro. These days, I do most of my video editing with the desktop version of InShot, and I’m currently diving into the wild world of DaVinci Resolve.

Working with small businesses to bring their unique brand story alive online is my happy place. I believe that nurturing your online community is the key to overall marketing success - not just blatantly "selling" to them.
I have worked with a diverse range of local small businesses and artists, including musicians, painters, custom home builders, filmmakers, bookstores, artisanal food producers, florists, adventure sailing yachts, cafés, fashion boutiques, yoga instructors, authors, beauty salons, jewellery designers, and health practitioners.
Building authentic connections, adding value, and maintaining trust are always at the heart of what I do in the social media and digital marketing space.
