Slow mornings done properly.

Coffee in hand, the crispy crunch of a tuna melt, and that Freshwater kind of calm that makes you forget the rest of your to-do list for a second.

La Loca just gets it.

Simple menu, done really well. No fuss, just good food, good coffee, good vibe.

This is the kind of place you come for a quick stop…
and end up staying longer than planned.

Hot take… this might be the most underrated dessert on the Northern Beaches.

Just tried the Hot Basque Cheesecake Pie from Nah Yeah Coffee & Pies in Seaforth and honestly… I haven’t stopped thinking about it since.

It’s warm.
It’s creamy.
It’s slightly caramelised on top.
And somehow still sits inside a perfectly flaky pie crust.

Whoever decided to combine a burnt basque cheesecake with a pie deserves a raise.

The texture is what gets you.

Soft and silky in the middle, golden and slightly charred on top, with that buttery pastry crunch holding it all together. It’s rich without being heavy - which is dangerous, because you’ll absolutely finish the whole thing (and then go back for another one).

Also worth mentioning: this place has proper local cult-favourite vibes. Small shop, big flavour, and the kind of spot you end up telling everyone about after one visit.

If you’re a Northern Beaches local or just passing through Seaforth… Put this on your list immediately.

Trust me on this one.

SPOTLIGHT ON… Barrel One, Manly ☕✨

There’s nothing better than a good coffee and a toasted panini with views of Manly wharf 🌊🤌

is the place for slow mornings, catch-ups that stretch longer than planned, and that perfect “one more coffee” moment.

My go-to? A flat white with their chicken deli sandwich (chef’s kiss). But word on the street is their bagels are all next-level, so you already know what I’ll be trying next time (probably the salmon let’s be real)👀

📍 Manly, Northern Beaches (but they also have cafes at Lane Cove, Potts Point, Brookvale and Cromer if any of these are closer for you!)

SPOTLIGHT ON… Suki, Mona Vale ✨

Can we take a moment… the oysters, the zesty green broth, the vibes 🤌💚

If you’re after a dinner that feels a little extra (in the best way possible), is a must.

Fresh, fun, and so good it’ll have you planning your next visit before dessert even hits the table (my fave dish was the Short Rib Rendang, but apparently the Pad See Euw is their best, so that’s what I’ll be trying next time!)

P.S. If your booking is after 8pm, you get a FREE margarita (I opted for a spicy marg ofc) and they also do a happy hour! 🍹

How do you use social listening and social monitoring in your business?

First, find the conversations already happening about your niche/business/industry - then listen to what’s being said 👂

Next, join the conversation - be genuine and helpful, and most importantly, DON’T try to sell your product/services at this stage!!!

After that, you can set up a system to monitor relevant conversations online. You can do this manually by regularly checking your own Instagram page (and stakeholder pages), or use a social analytics tool✌🏽
