ONE MATCHING SET, SO MANY OPTIONS

Matching sets aren’t going anywhere and this one is perfect for work with a top underneath, add a lace bralette or bodysuit for a catch up with friends or date night and then just separate the set to mix and match it with what’s in your wardrobe - jeans, skirts, shorts, blazers and shirts.

The neutral colour means it goes with almost everything and the long waistcoat is so flattering with the belt to cinch the waist and give some shape.

4 TIPS FOR BUYING A WINTER COAT

Coats are essential as it gets cold and here are my tips to getting the perfect fitting one for you.

1. You can often size up giving more room in the sleeves for layering without affecting the shape

2. It can be oversized but make sure the coat doesn't sit too wide on the shoulders

3. Don't forget to unpick the stitching from inside the pockets and at the bottom

4. Coats go on sale around June/July so hold out to score a bargain

HOW TO REDISCOVER OR REDEFINE YOUR STYLE

STYLING DARK DENIM

Dark denim has had a revival this Autumn and it’s sticking around for Winter.

Here are some simple ways to style darker coloured jeans. It’s a lot like styling lighter jeans (thankfully), but I think dark denim is a little dressier.

IT’S OFFICIALLY BOOT SEASON

The best things about the cold - boots (and blazers).

It’s officially boot season and they’re an Autumn and Winter staple. Wear them with jeans or pants or skirts. Go for a flat or heel.

How sensational are these denim beauties? I saw them and thought about them for 3 weeks before buying them in Zara!

WHAT’S ON TREND THIS AUTUMN

We’re well into Autumn with the temperature dropping and there are some great pieces in stores and online ✨

These are the key Autumn pieces I think you should have.

1. A trench coat. Always on trend/in style and an absolute wardrobe essential. It goes with everything and just elevates an outfit.

2. Wide leg jeans. They’ve been around for a while and aren’t going anywhere. Wear them with sneakers or boots or dress them up with heels.

3. Chocolate brown. Neutrals are always around in Autumn which is great because you can wear them season after season but chocolate brown pieces are more prominent this Autumn.

WHAT COLOURS SHOULD YOU WEAR?

Whatever you want. End of caption ...

But seriously, some might say this lighter tan colour isn't great for me but the fit is so I bought it and feel great in it. The first time I wore it I even got a compliment.

You can look at your skin undertones and the colour of your veins to work out if you're cool or warm, Summer or Winter but it doesn't have to be that complicated.

You'll know as soon as you put something on whether it's a yes or no. Go with how you feel.

I think I bought the only top that wasn’t on sale during Black Friday 😅

Yes it’s another black top but the cut out detail makes it different and still versatile.

A MOMENT FOR THIS DRESS

I don’t usually throw myself a bday party so when I decided to, I went all out.

This dress from Showpo is just what I needed. It was love at first sight 🖤

The wonderful Amy Capeda / Makeup Artist did my makeup and followed the brief which was drama on the eyes. Hair by Steph at Cali Studio for a classy look to complement the dress and the perfect black nails thanks to Little Allur Beauty.

It really took an army!
