Do The Maths And Know How Much Your Ad is Costing You...
..on conversation campaigns it depends on what you are selling of course-

If you are selling something that is $5K and have a $20 Click (not that you should aim for $20 clicks:) 😂 ) But the ROAS (Return on ad spend) is good, right?

So you don't have to be a mathematician to work out these numbers but understanding them will guide your ad spend and decisions.

So what do you look at and check?
Below are a few metrics to consider and know:

Cost Per Click (CPC)
Ad Spend / No. Of Clicks
Shows us How Much it Costs Us To Get Someone To click To Our Website / Funnel

Cost per Lead (CPL)
Ad Spend / No. Of Leads
Shows us How Much it Costs Us To Get someone To Give Us Their details And Become. A Subscriber

CLICK THROUGH RATE (CTR- Link Click Through)
This Is Calculated Inside Of The Ad Platforms
Shows Us The Percentage Of Times People Saw Your Ad And Performed A Link Click

Sales Page / Application Conversion Rate
No. Of Sales or Bookings / No. Of Leads x 100
Shows How Effective oYour marketing Funnel Is At Converting People To The next Step. Industry Standard Sales Pages Are 1-3% . Industry Standard Booking Pages Covert 5-10% Of Leads Into Bookings

Lead To Sale Conversion Rate

Would you like to anxiety away and move the needle when you run ads for your business?

Hopefully over the next few posts I will be able to help you to lower the stress and maybe totally eliminate the worry when you run your ads.

You see throwing mud against the wall and hoping something sticks is pretty naive.

A lot of businesses don't follow strategic metrics and wonder why their ads are not living up to their expectations.

So what do YOU need to focus on when optimising your ads?
There are 3 Main areas that you look at in your business when Optimising.

SALES Optimisation
FUNNEL Optimisation
AD Optimisation

It's so easy to get overwhelmed with CPC / CTR / LINK CLINKS / IMPRESSIONS and the terminology goes on and on...

ROAS -

AOV -
A) Cash received / No. Of Sales = AOV (Average Order Value)
[Allows you to see how much you can spend to acquire a customer profitably]
CPA -

Why does an experienced pilot still use a preflight checklist before every flight?

Because if they miss just one thing, then everyone's life is at risk.

What would happen if they didn't have this checklist?

What if they just had an argument with their partner or heard something terrible and was emotionally overwhelmed...
..I guess we can assume they would be professional, right?

The truth is, we humans have flaws and our emotions can drive a rash decision action. If the pilot didn't follow their checklist...
..you can fill in the rest.

So a checklist is paramount, especially things that involve life decision making situations, such as flying.

It removes human error and therefor becomes predictable.

In business, this is called SOP - Standard Operating Procedure.

Now hopefully your business does not involve life threatening decisions but in reality...
..your business can create life changing outcomes for you, your family and your clients.

So it is critical for you to have in place the right systems and procedures.

Hence why we have a SOP which is our Marketing Checklist that minimises human error.

How good is that?

Have you ever tried to chase a rabbit?

We had 2 rabbits and it was really difficult to catch just one of them even in a safe enclosure.

This means if you try to put all your efforts and energy into two goals at the same time, you wont succeed in either one.

Let that one land a minute.

Speaking to business owners I have found that one of the biggest problems is that they tend to wear all the hats.

They chase too many things, get exhausted and eventually are spread so thin that they can't see the forest for the trees.

This is a massive problem because they start to lose the joy in what they LOVE to do by doing what needs to be done...
..instead of focusing what they are great at and what they love doing.

Sound familiar?

It just does not make sense to place your FOCUS on trying to FIND clients as well as trying to work WITH them.

Can you see that if you do, you'll end up chasing two rabbits (metaphorically speaking)...

..then how do you sell your product/service without feeling pushy?

Create a magnetic message which allows people to make the right choice for them because it fits them like a 'Hand in a Glove'.

Why Do People Really Buy Stuff?

If you really get what I'm saying here; then you will be in a position to be-able to help many more people in your business.

Why do they go from:
Point A (now) to Point B (where you want them to be)?

✅ Avoid Pain
✅ Avoid Loss
✅ Gain Pleasure

However Urgency must exist too...

✅ It must be their current pain, not future pain.
✅ There must be an urgency to solve the pain.
✅ Something that they are worried about or dwelling on.

In marketing, we communicate a current pain that exists now, paint a clear picture that aligns them with their desire...
..and position your product/service as the Path out of the Pain to their vision.

They will become an informed buyer.

Yes an Informed Buyer!!

So you can attract them Authentically and Naturally.

Not Pulling and Shoving with manipulation which will make you and your client feel very uncomfortable.

I hate selling but it feels great helping someone to transform, right?

So allow them to buy from you...

Position Yourself Right To Your ideal Audience…

The human psyche loves to watch someone going from struggling to successful, through challenge and triumph, right?

Directors/Actors and writers work on their delivery and the exceptional create sympathy and empathy, using the struggle to success story; that is why we ALL love movies.

Marketing your business I suggest that you need to do the exact same.

Key Understandings:
This is NOT your biography. No place for ego.
You are NOT the character in your story (believe it or not)
Your Customer is the character of the story - they must see
themselves as the hero
You are the Guide in the story that has “been there done
that” or that has researched and can show them the way

You Need To position Yourself Right to Your Ideal Audience So They Know Why You Are Telling Them Your Story.
