Little throwback ~ earlier in the year I completed a redesign and update to Shopify 2.0 for .

I first worked with Emma at For Love & Living many years ago, designing the original FLL Shopify site when she first launched. Since then, the business has evolved and service offerings have been added. Emma wanted the website to be updated in order to clearly communicate all service offerings including Brand Activations, Interior Design and their recently launched “For Living” interiors range.

The new website layout & design creates cohesion between the multiple service offerings, and an improved user experience for their clients.

Working collaboratively with Schmidt, who created new branding and a premium brand identity for Chevaune, we crafted this new Wordpress website design. Every single detail has been meticulously planned to pay homage to Chevaune's stunning work, and align with her target audience.

Shopify 2.0 makes it super simple to build unique product templates for every product on your website if that's what is right for your brand. The customisation options that exist on the platform now, probably would have only existed on a completely custom ($30,000+🤑) website in the past.

When I met with Danielle Dunsmore For Mayor, I got excited. Here is an accomplished woman who is passionate about the community AND has decades of corporate business experience. She has a Masters of Business (MBA). She's worked in large and small councils. She has an understanding of town planning, she's travelled extensively and taken notes on which countries and cities are best in class in terms of transport and liveability. She's got a fresh perspective and vision for the Gold Coast.

HNY - how are you? If you’re in SE QLD I hope you’re staying safe and dry. It’s been a challenging few weeks but I’ve been heartened by the community’s response, offers of warm showers and fridge space and to see the flow of support & gratitude for the hardworking Energex team who are all doing their absolute best to restore power. Love to see it.

Speaking of community, on the 27th of December I met with a local candidate to be the new Gold Coast Mayor and I am overjoyed that we have such a capable, experienced and community minded candidate in the running to be our new mayor. Her new website was built in under a week and is ready to launch so stay tuned for the big reveal.

There’s lots more to talk about and announce, but I will save it for another day.

I cannot put into words how much I love Shopify 2.0. A few years ago, you couldn’t achieve the types of customisation now available unless you were willing to spend $30,000+ on a custom website. 🤑

Each skincare product page is completely customised with:
- Skin type call out
- Key active ingredients
- Collapsible tabs for more helpful info
- Specific complementary product recommendations to form a skincare routine
- Social proof in the form of customer reviews
- Skin Quiz to provide personalised product recommendations

The end result - a MUCH better experience for the customer 👌🏻
