On Friday, we wrapped up the year the best way we know how… together 💖

An afternoon spent celebrating with our team and many of the contractors who work alongside us day in, day out.

It was relaxed, full of laughter, great conversation, and a few moments of reflection on just how much has been achieved.

The Measured Marketer is built on relationships.
With our team. With our trusted partners. And with our clients, who invite us into their businesses and trust us with work that really matters.

We care deeply about what we do. We care about doing it well. And we care about the people on the other side of the work. Because marketing, when it’s done properly, helps people make better decisions, move forward with confidence, and build something that lasts.

To our team, our contractors, our clients, and everyone who’s been part of TMM’s world this year, thank you. We’re incredibly grateful.

Here’s to a well-earned break and a strong start to the year ahead.

Merry Christmas 🎄✨

As we wrap up this series, we’ve loved taking the time to look back and reflect on some of the milestones our clients have marked this year.

From 25- and 60-year anniversaries, to brand evolutions, product launches, research insights, and defence positioning — each story has shown the commitment, resilience, and impact of the businesses we’ve been proud to work alongside.

For us, these aren’t just projects. They’re moments that highlight what can happen when strategy, consistency, and collaboration come together.

A huge thank you to our clients for trusting us to be part of their journeys. Here’s to the milestones achieved in 2025, and to the opportunities still to come.

🌏 From Local Innovation to Global Expansion: SiNAB + The Measured Marketer

Over the past few years, The Measured Marketer has proudly partnered with SiNAB on their journey from an innovative Australian start-up to a globally recognised defence technology company.

Together, we’ve elevated the visibility of SiNAB’s Phoenix range of sensor pods. Compact, intelligent systems designed to enhance airborne surveillance and data collection — while strengthening the company’s brand and marketing foundations for global growth.

In 2025, SiNAB’s momentum has accelerated:
• Launching new product variations, including the Phoenix Mini
• Establishing global distributor partnerships across key markets
• Showcasing capability at major international defence exhibitions
• Expanding into new sectors and regions with confidence and clarity

The Measured Marketer has been alongside them every step of the way. Refining strategy, shaping communications, and supporting their expansion as their outsourced CMO and marketing team.

And now, to wrap up a standout year, SiNAB is taking Jacqui Daley to the Dubai International Airshow to help strengthen relationships with new global partners.

Got the shirts. Got the business cards. Let’s go. ✈️

When we started working with MATO Australia, the goal was clear… to elevate awareness of a trusted, long-standing brand and build the marketing foundations to support their next phase of growth.

With more than 30 years of experience in Australia and global headquarters in Germany, MATO has a strong reputation for quality and reliability in conveyor belt fastening and cleaning solutions. Our work together has centred on strengthening their marketing channels, building visibility, sharpening messaging, and modernising how MATO connects with its audiences.

Over the past six months, we’ve:
// Developed a focused marketing strategy to support their Australian operations
// Created a dedicated new landing page for belt fasteners to give this solution a digital home: https://beltfasteners.au/
// Run national advertising campaigns across Australian Bulk Handling Review, Australian Mining Review, and Australian Mining Monthly
// Grown the MATO Australia LinkedIn following from zero to almost 350 (follow if you haven’t already! 👉 linkedin.com/company/mato-australia-pty-ltd)

And we’re just getting started.

Next up? The Australian launch of MATO’s new Medium Duty Fastener Range, to be featured in the upcoming Nov/Dec edition of ABHR, and a refreshed web presence for their Australian-made belt cleaners.

Huge thanks to Jezweb and Ryan Simmons at Simmer Studios for their creative collaboration, and to MATO’s David Gilbert, Gem Fitzpatrick, and the wider team for their trust, partnership, and commitment to progress.

This year, we worked with NHN Group to strengthen their positioning in the defence sector and sharpen how their story is told across all markets.

Already known locally for their professionalism and trusted service delivery, the challenge was ensuring their full capability was communicated as clearly as it’s delivered… from and to and services.

Our focus was on:
• Developing targeted, defence-ready messaging
• Aligning content to showcase their credibility in the sector
• Optimising systems to give clearer visibility of performance across business units
• Building a sharper campaign presence that complemented their strong reputation and relationships

That strategy paid off, supporting NHN Group in the successful tendering of a multi-year security contract with the Port of Newcastle and driving stronger internal alignment through Pipedrive CRM optimisation and regular niche market content campaigns.

It all came together at the Hunter Defence Conference, where NHN’s reputation, relationships, and marketing alignment positioned them strongly as a capable and trusted local partner.

A great example of how service, strategy, and storytelling can work together to open doors - and keep them open.

Earlier this year, we partnered with HunterNet Co-operative to deliver their Annual Pulse Survey, a project designed to capture member perceptions on performance, satisfaction, and priorities for the year ahead.

This survey isn’t a one-off. Each year, it provides HunterNet with a consistent, independent view of how members are feeling and what they need, creating a valuable benchmark for measuring change over time.

The 2025 survey offered:
• An independent snapshot of member sentiment
• Evidence-based insights into emerging industry challenges and opportunities
• Clear direction to guide future initiatives and member services

Our own Jodie had the privilege of presenting the results back to HunterNet and its patron members — turning the data into a meaningful conversation about where the organisation is and where it can go next.

HunterNet plays a critical role as a connector for industry across manufacturing, defence, and energy in the region. The Pulse Survey helps ensure that connection remains relevant, responsive, and built on the real experiences of members.

In early 2024, TMM began working with Coverite Projects to provide CMO-level strategy and leadership. They were just about to open their beautiful new office on Hunter Street in Newcastle and were looking to take the next step in their 50-year story, sharpening their marketing to match the quality of their work.

Our starting point was a strategic marketing plan, with a strong focus on enabling the team through technology, HubSpot quickly became a cornerstone. Soon after, a very clever hire was made in bringing Hayley Coleborne on board to lead the marketing function.

Working alongside Hayley, we introduced a refreshed brand (delivered in partnership with Stuido Sondar), a clear approach to consistent, industry-relevant content, and the systems to support growth. Together, we’ve also built out thought leadership, events, and activations that showcase Coverite’s expertise across aged care, hospitality, independent schools, and early learning centres.

Twelve months on, the difference is clear, and much of it comes down to Hayley’s incredible work. She’s stepped into the role with focus and creativity, ensuring Coverite’s marketing is now:

• Consistent and professional, with refreshed communications
• Structured around regular EDMs and automated HubSpot workflows (we’re super excited by all the AI enhancements within the platform)
• Elevated with a brand presence that reflects the quality of their work across key sectors

This isn’t just a story about systems or tools; it’s about the impact of having the right person in the right role. Hayley has taken Coverite’s marketing to a new level, and it’s been a privilege to work alongside her and the wider team over the past year.

In September, Custom Fluidpower marked 25 years in business, a remarkable milestone in an industry built on expertise, trust, and long-term relationships.

To make sure the occasion felt as special as the achievement itself, we worked closely with the Country Managing Director Brad Evans and each branch manager across Australia to create a localised celebration for their team and customers. Every branch added its own flavour to the anniversary, reflecting the people and partnerships that have shaped CFP over the years.

In Brisbane, where Tracey joined the fun, the team hosted a customer day with a big reveal: their brand-new state-of-the-art CNC high-performance machining system that will increase capacity exponentially and enable lights-out manufacturing. Guests also got a sneak peek at the new internal signage too, a project delivered “just in time”…

The celebrations rolled into a family-friendly afternoon, complete with ice creams, a bouncy castle, and a car racing simulator that proved very popular!

Alongside supporting each branch with their local celebrations, we also designed branded merchandise, plaques and invitations, and delivered materials that honoured both the people who make CFP what it is and the customers who’ve been part of their journey.

Reaching 25 years is about more than longevity. It’s about resilience, adaptability, and the ability to keep delivering for clients year after year. Congratulations again to the Custom Fluidpower team on a quarter of a century in business.

Earlier this year, TW Woods marked a remarkable milestone: 60 years in business. Known across Australia for their engineering and fabrication expertise, it was the perfect moment to refresh how they looked and sounded in the market.

Their brand evolution wasn’t about changing who they were… it was about ensuring their values, reputation, and bold “We Can Do That” mindset were carried into the next 60 years with clarity and consistency.

As their outsourced CMO, we directed and led the strategy, and clever Carla did all the heavy lifting to bring it to life. It’s a model that works brilliantly.

Together we:
● Developed a refreshed marketing strategy and messaging framework
● Partnered with Daniel Borg at psyborg to bring a new visual identity to life, supported by fresh photography and design assets
● Delivered SEO-friendly website copy (crafted by Jacqui and Carla) to complement the evolved website build with the help of Redback Solutions

It was an honour to help TW Woods celebrate their history while preparing for the future. Congratulations again on six decades of engineering excellence.

As 2025 moves into its final chapters, we’re pausing to celebrate the milestones some of our clients have marked this year.

From 25- and 60-year anniversaries to brand evolutions, market launches, research insights, and defence wins, each story speaks to the dedication, creativity and resilience behind every achievement.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing a collection of these snapshots. They’re not just about marketing campaigns; they’re about people, strategy, and the steady work that moves businesses forward.

We’ve been proud to play a part - and we’re excited to see what’s still to come before the year wraps.

If your business is ready to define direction and refine results, we’d love to help. Reach out to The Measured Marketer to start the conversation.

For the past 7 years, Old Duninald at Paterson has been our team’s happy place.
It’s where we step away from the day-to-day, breathe the delicious country air, and do the thinking work that keeps TMM moving forward.

This year we:
✨ Looked back on some amazing wins for our clients (you’ll see more in our upcoming social series)
✨ Registered a new trademark for what’s coming next (we're sooooo excited 👏🏻)
✨ Tightened our processes to work smarter and keep delivering at our best

And most importantly, we laughed and enjoyed spending quality time together.

I’m grateful to Jodie, Jess, and Tracey — the very best crew to plan, reflect and celebrate with. Here’s to closing out the year strong and rolling into our 10th with clarity and momentum.

By the way, one of the great joys of coming back each year has been building a beautiful friendship with the amazing owners of the property, Julia Wokes and her husband Chris, getting a glimpse of the joys (and challenges) of life in agriculture running diverse businesses. If you’re looking for a nearby stay in one of the oldest surviving homesteads in the Hunter Valley, with a history stretching back to 1821, here’s the link: www.oldduninald.com.au
.. And if one day you can’t find me driving around and hanging out in the industrial estates of Newcastle and the Hunter, you’ll know where to find me.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve pulled back the curtain on some of the key tools that help us keep things running smoothly here at The Measured Marketer , even while our MD Jacqui Daley is making the most of her Euro summer.

We’ve shared how we use:
• Asana as our project HQ
• Google Workspace as our digital backbone
• Canva to bring strategy to life through design
• ActiveCampaign making marketing personal
• Toggl Track helps us keep time on our side

Each system plays a different role, but together, they help us stay organised, efficient, and creative.

What makes them work? A bit of structure, a splash of AI, and a whole lot of team collaboration. Our goal is always the same: to create space for our people to do great work and for our clients to feel supported, understood, and in good hands.

Thanks for following along… and if you’re ever curious about how we make systems sparkle, just reach out. We’re always happy to share.
