"Paul Hinderer has a passion for photography that puts him in a different league to his peers. I have worked with Paul for over 30 years on different photographic assignments from covering live events, marketing shoots, portraits and corporate photography. Paul brings to his photography an intuitive understanding of design through his studies of cinematography and as
a senior production designer and Head of Production at ABC TV, including art direction for Andrew Denton and many other stars of the 80s. Paul has unique skills with digital content creation, design and computer technology that has had him over the years employed as graphic designer, art director, web developer, brand activator and social media marketer - his technical knowledge of art and design have merged to a commercial end to support his passion for photography . For many years Paul pursued with single minded focus the photographic subjects that have become his forte, spending the predawn hours waiting for the sunrise and sunsets in mosquito infested swamps, striving for the perfect shot of a dew drenched spiderweb, a fruit bat in flight. Other phases of Paul's journey have lead him to create unique portraits, fascinating abstractions, stunning shots of graffiti at night, and wonderful shots in many other genres. Paul has a remarkably robust and energetic drive to chase the most outstanding photo and revisit a site again and again to get just the right ambiance that will engage the viewer. His most admirable quality as a working photographer is his sense of commercialism, getting results in a timely manner, following the brief and best of all getting a unique and marketable result. Words are one thing but the best way to judge a photographer is by what they produce."
