We're absolutely mad about where we call home - Daylesford - but here's our little confession: we're completely devoted Mighty Burras supporters! Now, while we reckon bulldogs are the greatest dogs on earth (and yes, Daylesford Footy Club are the Bulldogs), they come in as our runners-up. The Mighty Burras will forever hold the top spot in our hearts! We've been backing the Hepburn Football Netball Club as proud sponsors for years, and here they are again with another massive raffle to boost club funds.

Ever heard "it takes a village to raise a child"? The same rings true for building a genuine, connected community - and our local sporting clubs are absolutely the pulse of that community.

Sure, community sporting clubs snag the odd grant here and there, but they'd never survive without serious fundraising efforts year after year. These clubs are so much more than just footy and netball - they're the places where lifelong friendships begin, where young ones discover teamwork and grit, where families huddle together on chilly Saturday arvo's, and where our entire community rallies to cheer each other on.

The mega raffles have already delivered incredible results: brand new change rooms, digital scoreboards, revamped club facilities, fresh infrastructure, plus funding for player development programs. But the real win? They've created a genuine gathering place where our community can flourish.

Recently, we collaborated with the Club to create an outstanding new website that they can manage independently - designed to become the go-to hub for players, volunteers, members, and our broader community.

We've also refreshed the raffle's visual identity and launched their updated website, now seamlessly integrated with the RaffleLink Platform for the very first time.

Howdy y'all

A few weeks ago I had every intention of writing a little blog about all the fantastic and wonderful gifts you could buy locally in our area - either in person or online. But, well, life happened and I didn't get around to finishing it.

HOWEVER - I still have some great little gifts that I managed to uncover which I would love to share with you. Be it a last-minute stocking filler, a thoughtful gift, or just knowing that you are spending money with a small business where your purchase will make a real difference to the owner, their employees and our town.

This is a very stylish shop in Daylesford and unlike many shops, this one is actually geared towards the gentlemen in your life (or the very handsome woman who has a penchant for comfortable shoes) My FAVE thing in the shop right now is a gorgeous market tote made by Bellroy. Its $59, comes in a stunning "Ranger Green", holds a heap of stuff (incl heavy groceries so perfect for market days), AND is made from 100% recycled PET plastic bottles (I've been reassured that this is a type of plastic and not actual pets...)
Its actually just one of those really great totes. Stands up on its own, lies flat when you need it to. Can wipe it clean.

Portal 108
Next is everyone's fave store in Hepburn Springs. Portal is filled with great affordable women's fashion with brands such as Elm, Foxwood and a new younger range All About Eve, but they also carry some local designers including two fantastic chicks from Macedon called Barry Made and my personal favourite, the Biddell Playsuits. There are also handmade jewellery, shoes, socks, all the things - incl some cute pet leads & collars

Winespeake
One of my fave places to hang - this place is owned and operated by a young couple who are serious about wine and wine-making. All the staff are fabbo and they do great wine boxes, hampers, charcuterie boards - you name it. Head to their website or give them a buzz and they will deliver a load of the two most important things in life - wine and cheese - to your door or mine (hint hint - please feel free to send me something from here to put under my tree)

Salus Body
Now whilst these guys arent from our region, the owner is a mate and he does live up here! This stuff is gorgeous and they have just released a new limited edition range called The Botanical Duo. Its the shizz. Geranium & Juniper Berry Body Wash with Calendula & Shea Butter Body Cream. Think its about $50+ worth but its only $40 at the moment so grab it. If you cant come away to Daylesford for a weekend - this can be your little treat where you can have a little escape in the bathroom.

Proud to be helping the local community.

This is no ordinary market. There is beautiful original art, sculpture, designer clothing, bric-a-brac, records, collectibles and lots of interesting goodies.

Wander around the eclectic stalls, have lunch at the gorgeous little food stall or get your future told by a beautiful tarot reader.

And a special little market needed some special branding and identity.

We had a lot of fun creating this one!

We could not be happier that one of our clients (and good mate!) has yet again reached the finals of the Delicious Produce Awards. If you are in Central Victoria (Daylesford, Ballan and Trentham Markets) or are able to get to the Alphington or Carlton Farmers Markets, you will often find them there.

This is seriously good pork and beef from a couple whose regenerative farming methods inspire us and many other farmers around the country.
