For many of us, growing up feeling different hasn’t always been easy. Whether it’s because of our culture, religion, family expectations, or simply not fitting the mould, it can be difficult to fully embrace who we are when we don’t see people like ourselves reflected in the world around us.
What I find so inspiring about Stacey’s story is that it begins with self-acceptance. By embracing her sexuality, she also embraced every part of herself.
It sounds simple, but for many of us, it can be one of the hardest things we’ll ever do.
If you’re still questioning, finding your way, or considering coming out, remember that there’s no timeline. We all arrive at self-acceptance in our own way and in our own time. 🌈
