Some businesses find it’s best to post on Instagram during off-work hours. So depending on your audience, that could be in the early morning, during lunch, or in the evening.
We also tend to find that weekdays work better than weekends – could be that without the distractions of partners and kids they have more time to kill scrolling though Instagram.
What’s important to realise is that the right time for you isn’t going to be the right time for anyone else. For example, I’ve found I get good engagement at 5am, but the conversion isn’t so great – so it’s also important to know what you want from your socials.
So read all of the information and and use it as a baseline, then through your own testing, tracking, and optimisation, you’ll find out what works best for your specific audience through the use of your analytics – oh, and don’t forget that you need to convert your Instagram profile to a business account to access analytics.
