1. Draw leads from multiple sources 👉 according to only about 1-2% of traffic converts to sale on a typical website, not great odds! So increase these by driving traffic from multiple audience through different channels such as socials, email, pay per click and blog posts. The other benefit of these? They have a low cost per customer acquisiton and you can track their effectiveness 🎉
2. Trust is golden ✨ as consumers, we are constantly being marketed to and it can be frustrating that every post or story you click on is trying to sell you something. The answer? Don't sell. Build trust, build community, build support 💪 do this through brand transparency and providing genuine value!
3. Retarget lost visitors ✈️ all good things take time, and reminders help to keep your brand front of mind. Just because a lead hasn't taken action on their first visit, doesn't mean there's not potential so educate through retargeting and try again
4. Effective customer relationship management 👫 once you have your leads, make sure you can take care of them! This is a big one with small to medium sized businesses who are scaling and may not be 100% prepared - rely on CRM systems such as Infusionsoft or Activecampaign to be your extra (ultra-organised) team member 🤓
5. Use a customer-centric sales funnel 🤝 do you know why the railroads in America became obsolete? Because they thought about their brand and offering first, they defined themselves as "railroads" and didn't see that the customer wanted something different, which allowed for the rise of other transport brands 🚆 don't be a railroad.
