Introducing..... Gav Krasner! Hi Gav!! 👋
Not only is he one of our fabulous creative directors at Storyland, he's also one of the founding members. 💪
Gav has extensive experience in marketing, branding and graphic design to the studio, producing beautiful websites, logos and other graphic assets for print and web. He's a seasoned graphic designer and he thrives on brand creation and application.
His unique style, his cheeky sense of humour 😜 and invested care shines through everything he creates with clients and the Storyland team and we are so fortunate to have him 😍
Here's what he had to say when we sat down recently and asked him some questions:
Q: What kinds of things motivate you in life?
A: Sitting in the sunshine with a cold beer among friends.
Q: What do you love most about what you do?
A: I love making a difference for my clients. Our client base is incredibly varied which means speaking to lots of different people week in week out. This keeps my side of the business really fresh. Every project presents different challenges big or small.
Q: Favourite morning beverage.
A: Coffee, coffee, coffee but definitely love a mocha. Nothing like a hug of chocolate in the morning.
Q: Cat or dog lover?? ;)
A: 🐈 Cat, controversial for some, but I love the grace, majesty and the complete contempt my cat has for me, which makes it all the more special when Milo (the cat) sides up, rubs his head against my leg and demands to be fed. Wait a minute…
Q: Favourite ice cream flavour
A: Any combination of flavours with nuts, maple, pistachio, butterscotch, coffee, vanilla, chocolate. Not rocky road.
Q: How do you like to unwind?
A: I love stamps and find great satisfaction in mounting stamp hinges and perusing my collections. Nah, just kidding — gave up stamps at the age of 9.
Today, I love to run, in the mornings (not too early mind) which sets me up for the day. It’s clichéd but I feed off my surrounds, the country around where I live - getting out for an early evening summer walk, feasting on magnificent light does wonders. But I also love kicking back with a glass of something, listening to tunes and of course nothing wrong with good old bit of Netflix and chill.
Q: My favourite place in the world is……
A: Too many places, anywhere with my kids is fun… but there is a place in Northern Cyprus (the Turkish side) that I visited on a number of occasions. Golden beach / dune complex is right at the end of the ‘pan handle’ (practically the most eastern point in Cyprus) something about its remoteness and beauty has always stuck with me.
Q: Tell us a surprising or fun fact about you
A: I’m a bit of a converse addict. I currently own 12 pairs. Which in real shoe terms is probably not that many but I’ve been wearing chucks since uni days… I estimate I may have owned over 100 pairs. I know what you’re thinking he doesn’t look that old 🤣
