I hosted a kids ‘arty-party’ where the birthday boy chose to paint a canvas of ‘Mando and Grogu’ (the Mandalorian, Star Wars). Fortunately I’m married to a Star Wars nerd and know all about it! Everyone had a great 👍 time

After my trip to Uluṟu, I came home inspired to teach my ‘Crafternoon’ kids to paint with acrylic some Australian favourites 👍 here are some!

Crafternoon yesterday- gave students a drawing of a kookaburra on watercolour paper and encouraged them to paint it/colour or draw patterns. For the background we stuck blue tissue paper with water then hair dried it which left blue stains for the sky. Was impressed by their creativity! Wish I took photos of them all!

This week at Crafternoon, we created a night time tree scene using acrylic paints with bubble wrap, ear buds and a toothbrush! Plus a boring 😉 brush in between. The kids had fun 🤩

We created this ‘calming jar’ in Crafternoon art class… the kids loved 🥰 making these and they were super easy using recycled sauce jars too! I'm getting ready to start my Crafternoon Kids Art and Craft classes in Minnamurra for 2022. Kids can come straight after school, walking distance from MPS (MPS kids can arrive anytime from when school is let out but we won't start the class until all the kids from other schools have arrived). Offering two classes Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:15-4:15pm for $20/class and can take Creative Kids Service NSW Voucher. We will create art/craft that kids like...
