What does truly accessible eLearning look like?

Over the past few months, we partnered with Inclusion Australia to develop three WCAG 2.2 AA compliant modules designed specifically for people with intellectual disability, placing lived experience and clarity at the centre of every decision.

Built in Adobe Captivate as SCORM modules, the focus from day one was WCAG 2.2 AA compliance and genuine inclusion for people with intellectual disability.

Working alongside lived-experience insights, we designed clear, intuitive interactions such as clickable rights cards, structured layouts, audio narration and captions. We avoided unnecessary animation and visual overload. Real people and photo-based symbols reinforced clarity and familiarity throughout.

The result balances compliance with humanity. Practical learning tools that support understanding, choice and voice.

When stakeholders are involved early and accessibility leads the process, digital learning becomes more than content delivery. It becomes empowerment.

Martin Luther Homes has launched a refreshed website — designed to better support their community and meet evolving aged care requirements. 🌿

The new look introduces softer, organic shapes and a refreshed colour palette, creating a more welcoming and contemporary experience while still honouring their strong heritage.

Accessibility was a key focus, with the site built to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards and improved enquiry pathways to make it easier for residents, families and carers to connect.

We’re proud to continue our long-standing partnership and support them in this next stage of their digital journey.

We recently refreshed the UDIA Victoria Awards section to deliver a cleaner, more intuitive and audience-focused experience, designed to guide entrants seamlessly from exploration to submission.

The landing page now features a bold hero banner and a prominent “Enter Now” call-to-action, guiding users with purpose. The refreshed palette replaces previous red elements with a strong, sophisticated purple ( ), creating a more cohesive and contemporary feel.

Structurally, award categories were streamlined into two clear sections. Project Categories and People & Organisation Categories, allowing users to explore everything in one place with fewer clicks. An accordion layout keeps content digestible without overwhelming entrants.

The Criteria page was fully rebuilt, presenting all 18 categories in structured tables detailing criteria and weightings, giving entrants, judges and sponsors a clearer reference point.

Excellent UI is invisible when done well. It simply makes engagement easier.

We’ve partnered with GV Health to design and deliver a real-time Emergency Department Barometer — helping the community better understand how busy the ED is at any given moment.

The barometer shows live demand levels, typical wait times and key updates, refreshing every 3 minutes via a secure automated data feed. Designed to be WCAG AA-accessible and aligned with GV Health’s branding, it supports clearer decision-making and helps reduce pressure on emergency services.
