Rivetting times au Chez Bagdaggery.

I have been procrastinating with respect to setting these slippery little devils for days now.

Finally just did it...and I didn't mangle or lose any! Several escape attempts were made, but the fugitives were retrieved and pressed into submission.

The upcycling continues. These pockets will never tear away from their backing fabric now. Infinity and beyond for bags!

Squee! My handbag display stands have arrived! This will make photographing a large, empty tote so much easier!

Now to practice...

Soon these Klimate Karma shopping bags - made from upcycled (reincarnated, gettit?) marquee walls - will be artistically displayed on this account. 😁

Currently my MSy hands are doing battle with dozens of very slippery rivets, but we're getting there.

The first Pocket Pal has been completed - on the kitchen table while my studio is in disarray.

Made of leather on a vintage Singer 201, this was an experiment in many ways. It's a little wonky, as all first attempts usually are.

However, the Man of the House has already nabbed it, so it can't be too bad! (And can only get better)

When my house is back in order (literally) I'll get some up on the interwebs.

Possibly even with some Purse Pals for company.

The first of the African Wax Print pouches is ready to go!

Using my Carolyn Case design, these are larger; measuring 16 cm in height, and 23 cm across with a boxed base 5 cm deep.

Topped with a silver-coloured nylon zip and equally lovely zipper pull, these pouches pop with life and colour.

Ideal for those necessities rattling around in your tote bag or drawers!

Found myself a "vintage" Elna Press on FB marketplace. Now I can revisit my teenage chore list while also block-stabilising fabric... straight from the bolt!
