This is Laminin. The molecule Laminin is the protein that holds all human beings together. Did you notice its shape? It’s a cross! Isn't it amazing that God knew we would need the cross when he created us. He knew when he created us that we would sin. He knew we would need a Savior. He knew his only Son Jesus would have to die on the cross to save us, and so he made the very molecule that holds our entire bodies together in the shape of a cross.

Molecular biologists call Laminin “the glue of the body”, because without it, our bodies would fall apart. The truth is, without Jesus and what he did for us on the cross, our whole lives would fall apart. Colossians 1:17 says that Jesus “is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” Jesus is the one who holds our lives together, just like Laminin holds our bodies together. Without Jesus, our lives are a mess. We are nothing without the cross of Jesus Christ!

The priceless perfume falls to the floor, scattered in brokenness. In disbelief, we face two choices: wasted or restored. When facing our personal brokenness, any hope of restoration often eludes us. It seems safer to accept the loss -- unaware of God’s hand in the midst of that brokenness.

We have a God who can take the wasted years, the damaged years, the hurtful years, the unfaithful years, the abusive years, the addicted years and painful years and restore and redeem to us the years that the locusts have eaten!

I hear the voices that have been broken and shattered for so long rising up with a new strength and a new boldness. From the wilderness, from that desert place, from the dark valleys,

The broken ones, the wounded ones, are emerging glorious.

The residue of that pain and shame is falling away, as you realise you are loved and desired by God! The King of the Universe knows and calls you by name.

Hear Him say, ‘You are My beloved’

I am so in awe of a wonderful God who doesn’t shy away from calling out who we are before we become who he calls us to be.

There are many stories in the Bible that took years to live to what they were called . But it doesn’t change the way God looks at them.

He calls out your destiny and speaks loudly what you are to become .

Let’s be sensitive to the name the Heavenly Father calls us… there is a breakthrough in knowing that.
