Hey there! 👋🏼

🙈 Oops! It seems like I've been mia for a while now. Meta tells me 922 days 🤭

Lately, I've been getting messages like, "Are you still alive?" or "Are you still doing your thing?" 🤔 Well, my dear friends, let me assure you, I'm very much alive and very much doing my thing! 💪🏼

It's somewhat obvious I am not the best at updating my socials, but I do need to make some time to share some of the highlights. It's like a mini digital renaissance! 🎨

Now, I'm not going all out to make any grand promises of posting every day or even every month which I may have been guilty of in the past. Let's be real—life happens. But hey, maybe I could commit to at least once a year updates. ha ha 🎉

Something good is most definitely going to happen when your gift cards look this good!⁠

Single sided, rose gold foil press on an uncoated textured white stock, with a single grey Pantone on the reverse for the beautiful ⁠

We scaled these gift cards down to fit into a reply envelope just so we could have the foil run across the entire design. ⁠
⁠
Quoting a foiled print job can be a little more time consuming, as the size of the foil plate will affect the quote. Foil plates are made out of magnesium, copper or brass and the larger the area you need foiled the higher the cost. ⁠

Death by trinket dishes..🙈

I jumped on the cotton trend and bought some at the at Stones Corner on the weekend. ⠀
⠀
As a business owner are you constantly collecting fabrics, plants, art pieces, small stationery items like paper clips? Don't let me near or cannot be trusted.
⠀
I'm sure everyone who goes shopping with me, is sick to death of hearing me say, "Oh, need to have it, it's for my styling" ha ha. I have a cupboard full of fabrics, clips, hour glasses, trinket dishes, glass cloches dried flowers (current obsession and no, they don't live in the cupboard) which reminds me I do need to make time to sort out my collection because half the time I forget I have them. ⠀

And clearly because my cupboard isn't full enough... I ask you, where is your favourite place to buy trinkets for your content?⠀

These two legends are my Mum and Dad. Today would have been their 43rd Wedding Anniversary. We lost Dad to the big C, 6 years ago next month. We all miss him horribly, but at the same time there's no point in not getting on with things, because I can guarantee, thats the last thing he would ever have wanted for Mum, my sister and brother.⠀

AND I think it's important to remember these special dates and check in with you nearest and dearest. I also think we all need to take time to appreciate Dad's mahogany, velour lapels and bow tie. The 70's was certainly a time of adding colour into absolutely everything, not excluding the most important day of your life..ha ha Not sure how Mum convinced him it was a good idea, but then again Dad didn't mind the old 'salmon' shirt every now and then. 'It's not pink" he would say, "It's definitely Salmon" ha ha! ⠀

The fact that you knew the colour was salmon Dad, I don't think it makes it any more manly than it being pink ha ha Love you Mum and Dad and Happy 43rd! xx

Striding into Friday afternoon with as much determination, as the day I trekked up those stairs at Petra. ha ha I had to do this climb solo as I couldn't convince my sister that she needed to come to the top with me. Her words - I'll take the picture. Nice one ⠀

It's been a massive few weeks here are Pixel Ink Paper Heart, and I'm certainly looking forward to ticking off the rest of my items on this weeks to do list. AND finishing up work today at a respectable hour, which will be the first time this week. Not complaining...just a little tired with a big side of being super grateful for my amazing clients and their projects. ⠀
