When Harry (14 yr old son) says - Mum, let’s make popcorn 🍿 and watch Superstore - I’m down.

He said, Mum do customers really ask those stupid questions, do staff really act that crazy! 🤣🤣🤣

We spot a 20-something aged customer stealing an iPad on security cameras, he’s stuffed it down his pants.

When we approach him to tell him “the Gig’s up” take the iPad out if your pants or the Police 👮 will be called. He throws what seems to be a temper tantrum of a 5year old, slams iPad on counter and says, “I stole that fair and square.” and stomps away. 🤦‍♀️

Christmas can account for nearly 30% of annual sales. That’s a lot of $$ dough. So, if you're looking to beef-up your team, the crazy season always brings about a spike in casual hiring.

If you're planning on hiring in the next few weeks, ya better start looking, vetting and training people. (no pressure ;-)

Remember, you’re competing with a lot of other retailers for talent these days, so the sooner you get started, the better.

According to several HR and Recruitment companies, Sales Roles in Australia are taking anywhere from 60 to 80 days to fill.

Just approved a comment on a Blog I wrote in 2016. Thought it was worthy of re-share and also made me chuckle at the MAIN issues in retail then were consumer confidence was down ;-).

Anywho, still valid points today.

I’ve just finished watching the Tomorrowland movie, discussing the parallels on how to be a dreamer while solving your customer's problems.
