The numbers tell the story.
Are you part of a B2B business, finding buyers becoming harder to reach?

They take control of their process themselves, they are self directed, and can find their own information, thank you very much.

This research from Gartner, McKinsey, Google, LinkedIn and Forrester paints a pretty clear picture of where things are heading.
Plus we've got some tips on the action you should take.

If you are a B2B business leader, check it out....

You might not realise it, but many Community Service Organisations (businesses in general actually...) struggle to clearly explain what they actually do. In our agency, we follow three rules to address, and fix this.

I'm talking about organisations like:
▫️ Mental health & Wellbeing Services
▫️ Child protection organisations
▫️ Disability & NDIS services
▫️ Family, Child & Youth Services
▫️ Employment, Housing & Social Support Services

In many cases, the work is valuable, but it's also complex.

So the messaging ends up sounding like this:
“We provide holistic, person centred support services tailored to individual needs.”

This is technically correct.
But almost impossible to understand.

When someone is looking for help, they’re not thinking in service models.
They’re thinking: “I need help.”

So your consumer marketing needs to meet them there, where they are at.

People connect with clarity, with words that reflect their situation, with empathy.
Not with a list of services.

Here are three simple ways to incorporate this shift in your marketing language:
1️⃣ Think about the moment, not the service
2️⃣ Say it the way that they would say it
3️⃣ Show people how it will work with simplicity

When you get this right, people really start to understand what you do.
When people understand, they are more likely to trust. They are FAR more likely to take the next step.

It’s one of our unique skill sets in WhiteSpace Marketing - being able to take the complexities of what you do, and transform it into marketing messaging that makes sense to your clients.

Happy to take a look at what you’re currently saying and help simplify it if you’d like.

If you’re a Organisations, you’ll be familiar with trying to do too much with too little when it comes to marketing, and not really understanding what’s working or what isn’t.

It’s a common situation. Often because you are trying to do everything at once, without taking a lasered approach to what gets results, what gets the most out of every single dollar.

Many approaches end up looking like this:

A bit of LinkedIn → A bit of Facebook → Some Google Ads → A few posts here and there

In reality, the organisations seeing the best results are doing the opposite.
Like this:

Focused Channels
- LinkedIn + Meta working together
- Clear role for each platform

Structured Campaigns
- Fewer campaigns but fully mapped

Content That Works Harder
- One testimonial in 4 different formats

Stronger Offers
- One high quality lead magnet

The goal here is to get MORE impact from what you are already doing, and leveraging every single asset you have at your disposal.

If you’re looking at your marketing and thinking it feels busy but not effective, this is usually where the shift needs to happen.

If you’d like help optimising what you have already achieved, and telling more people, just reach out. Let’s have a chat.

You know what's easy? Making complex businesses sound and look, well, complex.

You know what's much, MUCH harder? Making complex businesses sound and look easy-to-understand.

And lots and LOTS of businesses these days, especially in the B2B space, are seriously complex.

We've got an in-depth process within our own agency that we follow, but just to give you some hot tips on how to do it, here's some of our basic guidelines:

- Got 20 words for your headline? Make it 5. Tops.

- Using industry tech-speak? Don't. Make it conversational.

- Want to pack in all the things that you do? Avoid at all costs. Pick one thing, your hero service or product, and lead with that.

- Start with the end in mind: be SPECIFIC about the outcome for your customers / clients.

- Avoid generic terms like 'capabilities', 'solutions' or 'service' and use the words that your customers use.

- Cut the padding. Less is more. Help people scan your marketing bits n bobs, not get weighed down in endless paragraphs.

Simple + Clear = Cut Through.

If people don't get your business... look, they're not buying.

Why is your B2B marketing not attracting the right kind of enquiries? It seems like you're getting tyrekickers, or time wasters?

Is it a lead problem? A conversion problem? Or a visibility problem?
It’s usually all three.

Most B2B businesses are trying to do multiple things at once:
↗️ Generate demand
↗️ Convert opportunities
↗️ And stand out in a crowded market

Generally speaking, the way they’re communicating doesn’t keep up with how buyers actually make decisions.
_______________________________________________________________
Here’s the data:
↗️ The average B2B sales cycle is now around 10 months
↗️ 63% of B2B buyers take at least 3 months for a decision
↗️ 20% take over a year
↗️ Mid market deals can take up to 9 months to close
↗️ Most B2B buyers consume 10 to 13 pieces of content before making a decision
↗️ Over 80% of the buying journey happens before sales gets involved.
_______________________________________________________________
If your marketing is:
🔹 Too generic to stand out
🔹 Too complex to understand
🔹 Too disconnected from what buyers actually care about
It will end up doing none of the things you need it to do.

This is what you need to shout to the rooftops:
🔹 Clarity on what you actually do
🔹 Confidence that you can deliver
🔹 A clear next step

At WhiteSpace, we take complex B2B offers and make them clear, simple, and human.

So buyers understand faster, engage sooner, convert with more confidence.

Clear messaging, delivery of the right information at the right time, well, that means that everything improves.

Better quality leads.
Stronger conversion.
Shorter sales cycles.

If your marketing is trying to say everything at once, well, it’s probably not saying much at all.
Bring clarity to your complexity. We’d love to show you how.

Does your Aged Care / Retirement Organisation digital marketing look like a real estate brochure, featuring square meterage, features, design?

SEEING things.

Many do. That’s fine - it’s important. But often it’s a secondary level motivator. The first thing people look for is an emotional connection. FEELING
Here’s some stats that show the needle has moved from SEEING to FEELING.

90% of searches start online
70% of those searches are emotional
9 out of 10 people trust other people’s voices over marketing campaigns.

These numbers mean that you need to convey the ability to emotionally connect first, over the polished real estate images. They come later.
So here’s what you need to convey through your digital marketing, through the screen of an iphone, or an ipad:

Connections + Community
Reassure

What other people say

Here’s how to do it -> let real humans tell your stories.

Then make those stories the core of your digital marketing strategy and campaign flow:
-Residents stories
-Families stories
-Staff stories

These stories, REAL stories - they make the decision making process easier.

They build trust in a time where it’s honestly hard for families to know where to look.

If you want to see how real stories can impact your digital marketing, let’s have a chat, no strings. Just message us.

You’d be surprised how many Aged Care & Retirement Organisations have limited understanding about their digital marketing - how to track it, or reduce lead cost, even what’s most effective!

Many of them.

And that’s because they aren’t watching the decision making process closely enough, often seeing it like this:
Ad -> Enquiry -> Sale.

There’s nothing linear about making a decision for your loved ones. It’s emotional. So in reality, your marketing needs to reflect that.

Like this:
We need help ‘Overview’ Campaigns: Video Ad + Image Ad + Carousel Ad + Another Video Ad
Thinking about it ‘Why We Are Good’ Campaigns: Real story video Ad + Carousel Ad + Download helpful resource Ad + Another Video Ad
OK let’s talk ‘Showing Proof’ Campaigns: Testimonial Video Ad + Book A Tour Ad + Make An Appointment Ad

There are three things you need to really know inside and out to get this flow rolling:
Where people are in the decision making process, and how to show them the information they NEED to see at each stage

How the ENTIRE set of campaigns work as a cohesive strategy - visual hooks, language repetition, brand consistency

How to harness and USE the tracking at each stage to refine and keep improving.

If you’re curious to see how your marketing stacks up, or if you could improve for a cheaper lead cost, we’re happy to take a look, no strings.

One of the most common objections we hear from prospective clients is this: "We're worried you'll want to redo everything."

The brand. The website. The whole lot.

And I get it. Plenty of agencies do exactly that.

It's a nice little revenue spinner, isn't it? Convince a new client that everything they've built needs to be torn down and rebuilt. Fresh logo. New website. Start from scratch.

But here's what we always say:

You've done well to get here.

Your business has grown. You've built something. There's brand equity in what you've already created.

To your absolute credit, you have generated recognition, trust, familiarity.

Why would we throw that away?

Our job isn't to reinvent the wheel.

It's to take what's working and make it work harder.

➡️ Sharpen the messaging.

➡️ Tighten the strategy.

➡️ Fill the gaps.

➡️ Build on the foundation that's already there.

Sometimes that means a bit of refreshing, sure. Sometimes it means new creative, or a campaign, or a better way to explain what you do.

But it doesn't mean starting over just because we walked in the door.

We actually respect what you've built.

And honestly? Some of the best marketing outcomes we've delivered have come from working with what's already in place.

Because of it.

So if you've been hesitant to talk to an agency because you're worried they'll want to tear it all down... let's explain something about me, and us.

That's not us.

We'd rather build on what you've got.

Give us a ring.

[ The LinkedIn strategy we use with our clients (content + connections, working together for IMPACT and INFLUENCE) and it's not 'icky'. ]

I hear it all the time.

"We're posting on LinkedIn but nothing's really happening."

And look, I get it.

You're putting in the effort, showing up consistently, but where are the results?

What I know, doing this for years now, is this:

LinkedIn for B2B isn't about chasing people down like Today Tonight running after a dodgy real estate agent in suburbia.

It's not about going viral.

It's about being visible to the right people, consistently.

It's what makes people ring and say, 'I've been watching you on LinkedIn for a few months and can we chat about ....'

Let me explain what we actually do with our clients.

➡️ Step 1: We identify who you want to be in front of.

This ain't scattergun. It's the specific industries, the job titles, the decision makers who actually need what you do.

➡️ Step 2: We strategically connect with those people.

Not random connection requests. Targeted, intentional outreach to build your network with the right prospects.

➡️ Step 3: Your content then appears in their feed. Consistently.

And that content? It speaks directly to their problems. Their challenges. Their world.

That's it. Content + connections, working together.

Why does this work?

Because by the time they're ready to make a decision, they already know you.

They've seen your name.

They've read your thinking.

They trust you before you've even had a conversation.

It's a multi-touch approach that builds recognition and authority over time.

It's not icky.

It's not wishful and hoping.

It's just consistent visibility with the people who matter.

The outcome isn't overnight results.

It's being the first name they think of when they're ready.

If you want to chat about how this could work for your business, sing out.
