Obsessing over what everyone else is doing is a sure way to kill your own success.

Stalking competitors.
Doomscrolling for hours.
Taking advice from people you wouldn’t even want at your table.

Imagine if you used that time to actually grow your own business.

What could you build if you just kept your eyes on your own lane?

I love me some alone time, TRULY.

But having someone around to hold you accountable? Game changer.

You can do all the personal work, have all the discipline but when you’re juggling ALL the things, having a business bestie to check in with means the world.

I’ve recently jumped into some online co-working and it was a fu***ng vibe. So we’re bringing that to the studio T style. 🖤

The first one is next Thursday at 10am and we’re dedicating the whole hour to ticking off some of that admin s**t that’s just been sitting there, staring at you.

Jump online for an hour, get some jobs done, and get that hit of dopamine that comes from actually completing the tasks you’ve been avoiding. You know the ones.

The next session? We’re cracking open your content and you’ll walk away with a whole week of it sorted. I’ve got your back, baby.

Did I mention it’s FREE?

Slide into my DMs cause you know you wanna hang out x

Hospitality marketing in winter is NOT about discounts or begging people through the door with 20% off.

It’s about telling the story. It’s about romanticising the experience enough to make people get out of their PJ’s, ditch the latest episode of Dutton Ranch and indulge their tastebuds away from that microwave meal.

The story of the farmer who dropped off the pumpkins this morning. The local who drops off the artisan sourdough made just for your guests. The flavours that are on the plate. The joy that drink will bring your soul as you sip it. The date night you have been yearning for. The yap session with the girls. The pic you know they are going to want just for the gram.

I have worked in this industry since I was fifteen years old. I have served pub schnitzels and worked functions for the masses. I have closed bars at 3am and opened cafes at 5.

And the one thing I know for sure is this:
People have to make the connection with the food, the people, the space. They want to leave home knowing it was worth the effort.

Once you have convinced them your story was worth ditching a night in, you have to execute with the ambience and the service that leaves a smile for days and the 5 star reviews rolling in.

So stop posting your specials board on a flat-lay with no soul. Stop hibernating until spring. Start telling the story your kitchen is already writing every single night.

Your winter trade is hiding in your captions and your bang on content.

I’m rich because…

My husband chooses to show up for me daily, we also get to grow together and that’s because we are both investing in ourselves and our interests.

I have access to nourishing foods and I’ve learnt that to be on my A game I have to be mindful of what I’m consuming.

I have the ability to be in a room of likeminded people LEARNING - I’m super conscious about self awareness and also finding tools to help regulate my nervous system.

Despite my pets not understanding personal space they are pure comfort.

I get the joy of popping in and seeing legends like kicking goals.

Summer still lets me have photos with her 😂 plus to be fair this girl has been one of my fiercest defenders lately. 🔥

I still have Mums recipes and today Charlie helped me whip up our fav for the first time 😭

My family knows I’m a hippy at heart and bought me the most thoughtful gift a telescope so I can see the stars.

I get the privilege to invest in my personal and professional development.

I have amazing people who want to see me and my business succeed and are genuinely amazing humans

I’m rich because my life is filled with so many blessings that I get to be grateful for.

These Sunday Musings are fast becoming a favourite ritual.

It’s been a week.

Not the kind you wrap up neatly with a bow. The kind where you’re quietly grateful for the people, the moments, and the small wins that remind you why you’re doing this in the first place.

Funny thing though Clare actually put most of this together. And the fact that my team can sit down, write something that’s bang on what I’m going through, and hand it back to me? That’s its own slide 2 moment right there.

I’m also grateful for the growth. The self-awareness to know when to step back, when to sit in it, and when to do the work. This week that looked like an ice bath, breath work, and a deeper commitment to my personal and professional growth than I’ve ever made before.

Building something real means having people in your corner who get it. The ones who show up. The ones who keep you swinging. The ones who bring clarity about exactly what you’re building and who it’s for.

What’s on your gratitude list this week? 🍂

Hear me out ☘️

Aussie married to an Irishman. Two babes, dual citizens, and a love affair with Ireland that hits different every single time we go back.

Christmas in Ireland? Unmatched.

We don’t have a country steeped in history like yours. We grew up on books like The Secret Garden that created this intangible bond to landscapes you walk past every day without a second thought. We fly across the world for it.

Florence Court. Stopping into every small town to find a pub and a proper meal. Feeling like you’ve walked onto a film set. and .spiritstore1774 absolutely nail their Christmas marketing, by the way.

The sense of home. The nostalgia. The authenticity.
And yes, we made a detour to Derry purely for the Derry Girls mural. It’s basically our Neighbours.

There is a campaign waiting to be built around cosy traditional pubs, Christmas pop-ups at National Trust properties, historic town experiences like , and the feeling of a proper Irish Christmas.

Home. Nostalgia. The real thing.

If ye know someone at Tourism Ireland, tag them below. Fair play to ye👇

And who else is obsessed with Ireland at Christmas? 🍀

It’s the razor on the desk for me. 😂 Or maybe the KFC meetings. Or maybe… just maybe… it’s the years of hard work, showing up, pivoting, growing and refusing to quit.
I’m proud of where I am. Genuinely.

And the people who’ve had my back along the way, you know who you are, and I love you for it. 🤌

But here’s the thing, I’m not done. Not even close. There’s still so much to build, so much to learn, and honestly? That’s the part I love most.

Keep going. Even when, especially when, some people are hoping you won’t.

The awkwardness of being called out on your own bulls**t.

Literally just take 10mins day and record a piece of content. Don’t overthink just do it!

In has called BS on not being able to record content and I’m so guilty of it. I’m also guilty of not activating ideas like my content days so that s**ts incoming…already rung the venue!

Think a group of like minded business owners.
Think a planning session for your content.
Creating the content.
Then ending with help editing the content and of course a glass of bubbles.

Job done!

Now go create some content.

Pull up your big girl panties.

Drink the coffee.

Have the shower and wash the bulls**t away.

You have overcome worse and you have survived.

Find the one glimmer of light and stick with it.

PMA - it’s what Dan and I say to each other - positive mental attitude - mines full of sass and ambition.
