Strange to imagine but my tree grows among all others in the vertically integrated landscape of externally facing gates and roads connected to internally situated taverns. Via these linking trees, you are always magically moving, even when you appear to be stationary 🛸.

This stopmotion GIF was made by me, but it's concieved using proprietary tools, and a certain 'Walt Disney creativity' (Lessig 2005, Chapter One: Creators)... rip, mix, burn.

I had this idea to remix the unlimited power meme into an emoji for when we are feeling powerful.
Peeps love it the meme but its also kinda lived its best life - now it is nostalgic. Perfect for emoji!
My take was to iterate on pepe the frog, who has over the years been so violently torn from his original message and not so long ago put to rest by the artist originator and community of meme spreaders.
This version attempts to recontextualise and revive the truly unlimited potential of a meme.

Creative process needs 'that good kind of practice'. All artwork comes from something simpler and develops from there. Use references (!) especially while you are still learning the bodily forms of humans, animals, perspective, technology etc. YouTube illustration advice and challenges and make work that your peers can give you feedback on - often!

I imagine that I not alone might recall, within the parking lot of a big-bucks mall.
Talking about what we had seen,
when this little critter tumbled,
out of a wormhole between.
The bird stupidly squawked and
frequently farted.
Now feeling anxious my friend suddenly started: "go away you smelly bird!"
At this the floof did not attack...
falling silent as its eyes rolled back.
With uncanny rotation the beast lost grip, sliding backwards over the railing-lip.
It's still an unsolved case.
Bonkers in the head or lost in space?...
Does it inspire relief, or a pang of dread? Perhaps he is now a little bit dead.

Small things can inspire a creative impulse. I write myself stickies if I haven't the time to sketch out a concept. I do foresee a series of these 'crazy collector's cards' [Watch this space].

Can you think of a time in which circumstances came off otherworldly or simply a bit odd?
