From sketches to super-reality!
So here it is - the new logo for my design portfolios was something lurking around the corner, just waiting to happen... Never really paid much attention to what my logo will look like - I just needed something to be there, and to have some sort of resemblance of letter 'E'. But I just couldn't stick to any of these past designs, simply because I knew deep inside that I never invested proper idea and time into creation of any of these.
The idea of having a sharp-edged, diamond-shaped, superhero-alike logo, was rumbling in my head for the past few months, and finally in the last few days I sketched some different concepts of what it might look like. I needed it to be simple and effective, flat and skeumorphic friendly design. Only few close to final draft are shown here, and the one I chose is already posing as a page profile picture.
