Job Title: Part-Time Junior Local SEO Manager / Assistant

🚀 We're Hiring a Part-Time Junior Local SEO Manager

At Goal Activist, we're looking for a dedicated, eager-to-learn Local SEO Executive to help us manage multiple client projects.

📋 Responsibilities:

✅ Daily posting, review checking, and review replies on Google Business Profiles (GBP)
✅ On-page SEO, interlinking, Web 2.0 backlinks, and citation building, create web page for client websites
✅ Writing and publishing regular blog posts
✅ Regular posting on social media profiles
✅ Basic WordPress work: setup, page updates, header/footer creation, and SEO plugin setup

🕒 Working Hours & Reporting:
Saturday to Thursday, Friday off. You can work at times that suit you, but you need to let us know when you start work. Each day's tasks must be reported before 12AM the same day.

✅ Requirements:

✅ Working knowledge of Local SEO, GBP optimization, on-page SEO, and link building
✅ Basic WordPress skills (you don't need to be an expert, just comfortable with setup, content/page updates, header/footer creation, and SEO plugin setup)

💰 Compensation: Discussed based on experience.

📝 Note: Please don't apply if you're already doing well on marketplaces like Fiverr/Upwork or already have your own clients, this role isn't for you. If you genuinely know Local SEO, you should already be familiar with terms like backlinks and citations and have hands-on experience with them. I audited 50 local service websites. Here are some mistakes they all made.

Not bad content. Not bad design. Not even bad SEO tools.

The real problem was deeper:

→ GBP service sections left empty
→ Generic descriptions no keywords, no location signals
→ Websites that never mention actual neighborhoods, just the city name
→ Weak internal linking to service pages
→ Irrelevant backlinks doing nothing for local trust
→ Inconsistent NAP across directories
→ Hidden technical issues quietly killing rankings

Google doesn't just ask "does this business do roofing?"
It asks "does this business do roofing near this searcher?"
