Have free AI detection tools become a laughing stock?
Or, Paid tools are the only saviors amidst the AI Vs. Human content chaos?
The following images are a tiny glimpse into the volumes of content/copywriting battle we're going through everyday.
[Scenario: I rephrased my own text with a free AI tool and had it detected by another free one.
Score: 100% Human!]
I don’t really know who to consult or who to make understand of these time-wasting efforts.
Like life, content goes on, and writers (strugglers) like us keep hitting the same wall.
Zero deflection. The wall is thin, but it rebuilds itself everyday.
Or, we build it (stubbornly).
The problem is, instead of complementing human content with AI, many agencies are perpetually glued to the "This content is " "% AI-generated" rabbithole.
And it's not just in Bangladesh. The North-American clients and agencies live by this rule, too.
Their common responses are:
🛂 Rewrite (only human, mind you!)
🚫 Google restricts/penalizes AI content (As if LinkedIn, BuzzFeed aren’t hosting AI-boosted content)
👉 Add human touch (God knows what they mean by that!)
The result?
⚠️ Waste of time (still the least concerning issue in the list)
⚠️ Confusion paradox (Writers and editors speechlessly inspecting each other's faces)
⚠️ Long-term turmoil (Content status quo; no ranking, no searchability)
And all the blame goes back to— (You know who)
My writer conscience tells me to stop: "Don't bother. They won't understand your effort. Not the humans, nor the AI tools."
But I tell myself: at the end of the day, where do we draw the line?
(This content is solely conceptualized, planned, and written by me—and I swear by no AI detector tools in the whole universe; cz I don't trust them.) 😐
