Sound design taught me more about video ads than visuals ever did.

After nearly 3 years of working as a Motion Designer—mostly on 2D explainer videos—I recently edited a short-form product ad for a Facebook campaign.
That project completely changed how I think about sound.

Here’s what I realized:

• A video can look good without sound—but it will never feel good
• In short-form ads, sound doesn’t just support the visuals—it drives attention
• Transitions feel smoother when sound leads them
• Strong visuals with weak sound still feel like a cheap ad

The biggest lesson?

People forgive average visuals. They don’t forgive bad sound.

Music, sound effects, pauses, and timing shape emotion, pacing, and retention—especially in the first few seconds, where attention matters most.

Since then, sound design is no longer an afterthought for me.
It’s a core part of how I approach short-form ad editing.

As I move deeper into performance-driven, short-form content, I’m intentionally sharpening this skill—because sound is what truly brings a video to life.

ভালো e-commerce ad সবসময় flashy হয় না — clear messaging-ই আসল পার্থক্য গড়ে দেয়।

আজ আরেকটি short-form e-commerce ad video শেয়ার করছি, যেটা একজন local ক্লায়েন্টের জন্য তৈরি করা হয়েছে।

এই প্রজেক্টে সবচেয়ে বড় চ্যালেঞ্জ ছিল শুধু ভিডিও এডিট করা না, বরং
👉 brand message-টা ২০–৩০ সেকেন্ডের মধ্যে পরিষ্কারভাবে পৌঁছানো।

এই কাজে আমি ব্যবহার করেছি After Effects এবং Premiere Pro, এবং বিশেষভাবে ফোকাস করেছি—

Brand-focused caption animation

Smooth transitions যাতে scene flow ঠিক থাকে

Clean background design দিয়ে product highlight করা

Sound design, যা ভিডিওকে আরও engaging করে

আমি short-form ad editing-কে শুধু ex*****on হিসেবে দেখি না—
আমি এটাকে দেখি problem solving process হিসেবে, যেখানে unclear messaging-কে clear, creative গল্পে রূপ দেওয়া হয়।

বর্তমানে আমি e-commerce ad video প্রজেক্টে কাজ করছি।

A short ad video may look simple—but creating it requires many small, critical decisions.

আজ আরেকটি short-form product ad video project শেয়ার করছি, যেটা একজন ক্লায়েন্টের জন্য তৈরি করা হয়েছে।

এই ভিডিওটি এডিট করতে আমাকে একাধিক সোর্স থেকে resources খুঁজে, বাছাই করে এবং ম্যানেজ করতে হয়েছে, যেন সবকিছু ভিডিওর মেসেজ ও ভিজুয়াল স্টাইলের সাথে match করে।

এই প্রজেক্টে আমি ব্যবহার করেছি:

Adobe After Effects

Adobe Premiere Pro

কাজের সময় বিশেষভাবে ফোকাস করেছি—

Caption animation

Smooth transitions

Scene flow এবং pacing

Sound design, যাতে ভিডিওটা আরও engaging হয়

এই প্রজেক্ট আমাকে আবারও মনে করিয়ে দিয়েছে—
👉 ভালো ভিডিও এডিট শুধু creative না, এটা অনেকটাই planning এবং resource management-এর ফল।

Short-form ad editing নিয়ে কাজ করতে সত্যিই ভালো লাগে, এবং প্রতিটি প্রজেক্ট থেকেই নতুন কিছু শিখছি।

একটি সফল short ad video শুধু সুন্দর দেখালেই হয় না—এটাকে কাজ করতে হয়।
আজ আরেকটি short-form product ad video project শেয়ার করছি, যেটা একজন ক্লায়েন্টের জন্য তৈরি করা হয়েছে এবং Facebook-এ বিজ্ঞাপন হিসেবে রান করবে।
এই ভিডিওটি তৈরি করার সময় আমি শুধু editing নয়, বরং পুরো বিষয়টাকে performance-focused দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি থেকে দেখার চেষ্টা করেছি—যাতে ভিজুয়াল, ক্যাপশন এবং সাউন্ড একসাথে কাজ করে।
এই প্রজেক্টে আমি ব্যবহার করেছি After Effects এবং Premiere Pro, বিশেষভাবে ফোকাস করেছি—
Caption animation দিয়ে মেসেজ দ্রুত পৌঁছানো
Smooth transitions দিয়ে scene flow ঠিক রাখা

Sound design, যা ভিডিওকে প্রাণবন্ত করে তোলে
High Quality ইমেজ এবং ভিডিও
এই ধরনের short video প্রজেক্টে কাজ করতে গিয়ে প্রতিবারই নতুন কিছু শিখছি,
এবং সত্যি বলতে এই কাজটা করতে আমার ভীষণ ভালো লাগে।
ভবিষ্যতে short-form ad editing-এ নিজেকে আরও professionalভাবে develop করার লক্ষ্য আছে।

Short product ads may look simple—but they demand precision, speed, and clarity.

সাম্প্রতিক সময়ে একজন ক্লায়েন্টের জন্য একটি short-form product ad video এডিট করার সুযোগ হয়েছে, যা Facebook-এ বিজ্ঞাপন হিসেবে রান করবে।
আমি মূলত একজন Motion Designer, প্রায় ৩ বছর ধরে এই ফিল্ডে কাজ করছি এবং এতদিন আমার কাজের বড় অংশ ছিল 2D explainer videos।

এই শর্ট ভিডিও প্রজেক্টটি আমার জন্য নতুন হলেও অভিজ্ঞতাটি ছিল ভীষণ উপভোগ্য।
এই কাজে আমি ব্যবহার করেছি Adobe After Effects এবং Adobe Premiere Pro।

এই প্রজেক্ট থেকে যেসব গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয় শিখেছি—

Caption animation কিভাবে আরও engaging করা যায়

Smooth transitions ব্যবহার করে একাধিক scene কার্যকরভাবে connect করা

Background design-এর মাধ্যমে ভিডিওকে আরও premium feel দেওয়া

সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ—Sound Design

সঠিক music ও sound effects ছাড়া একটি ভিডিও কখনোই পুরোপুরি জীবন্ত হয় না

এছাড়াও শিখেছি কীভাবে AI ব্যবহার করে ভিডিও ও image তৈরি করা যায়, কারণ সবসময় মানসম্মত free footage পাওয়া যায় না, অথবা copyright restriction থাকার সম্ভাবনা থাকে।

সত্যি বলতে short video editing করতে আমার সত্যিই অনেক ভালো লাগে,
এবং ভবিষ্যতে এই জায়গাটায় নিজেকে আরও professional level-এ develop করতে চাই।

Saas Animation is an interesting task in After Effects. But you need a high configuration PC. I usually use a Mac Mini M4 for this work.
