I never like to bring family matters to Facebook. However, since I posted a video in my story, many people have been asking me, "Apu, what happened?" So, I thought I should write about it.
To those who say that village people are very simple and innocent, I would say that you have never truly interacted with them. They remain simple and innocent only as long as your position is below theirs.
Many people on my friend list know my brother the person I often write about, the one who has sacrificed his own happiness for mine. Yes, that person is my brother. Now, the fact that he is doing so much for us has become unbearable for our relatives, especially my father’s uncle. Though calling him my father’s uncle would be wrong; he is actually my father’s biggest enemy.
My brother has started the construction of the first building in our home, and my father’s uncle cannot tolerate it at all. He has resumed his enmity with my father. Since none of us live there, he is taking full advantage of the situation. Almost ten lakh takas’ worth of my brother’s materials are getting ruined. When many villagers asked my father’s uncle why he was doing this, why he was causing such a huge financial loss, his shameless response was: "When they started building the house, did they inform me and take my permission?"
My father’s uncle has four sons, who are even more disrespectful than him. They are now threatening everyone, saying that they will see how my brother manages to build the house.
Let me make one thing clear—they are living on my father’s land illegally, simply because they have a larger family and more people to back them up. If anything happens, they are always ready to engage in violence. In comparison, we have almost no one there, as my brother is not in the country. And they are using this as their strength.
In the end, I will say just one thing In Sha Allah, they will never be able to harm my brother because he has always been righteous. Allah will protect him☺️
