There’s a unique sense of pride that comes with that ink mark on your finger. It’s more than just a vote; it’s a voice for the future we want to build. Seeing people from all walks of life show up today reminds me that our collective choices shape our tomorrow.

আজকের ভূমিকম্পটি কেন এত বেশি অনুভূত হলো?

আজ সকাল ১০:৩৮ মিনিটের ভূমিকম্পটির মাত্রা ছিল ৫.৭ রিখটার স্কেল। সিসমোলজির ভাষায় এটি 'মডারেট' বা মাঝারি ক্যাটাগরির। কিন্তু তবুও ঢাকায় এটি বেশ ভয়ানক মনে হয়েছে। এর প্রধান কারণ হলো "ডিস্টেন্স অফ এপিসেন্টার"।

আবহাওয়া অধিদপ্তরের রিপোর্ট অনুযায়ী, এর উৎপত্তিস্থল ছিল মাধবদী, নরসিংদী। যা ঢাকা (আগারগাঁও স্টেশন) থেকে মাত্র ১৩ কিলোমিটার দূরে। সাধারণত উৎপত্তিস্থল যত কাছে হয়, শেকিং ইনটেনসিটি (Shaking Intensity) বা দুলুনি তত বেশি হয়, যদিও রিখটার স্কেলের মাত্রা একই থাকে।

এই মুহূর্তে যা করবেন:
১. বেশি বেশি দোয়া করুন।
২.গুজবে কান দেবেন না।।
৩.ভবনের বিম বা কলামে কোনো 'X' আকৃতির ফাটল দেখলে দ্রুত ইঞ্জিনিয়ারের পরামর্শ নিন।
৪.আগুন বা গ্যাস লিকেজ সম্পর্কে সর্বোচ্চ সতর্ক থাকুন।

নিরাপদ থাকুন, সচেতন থাকুন।

اَللّٰهُمَّ لَا تَقْتُلْنَا بِغَضَبِكَ وَ لَا تُهْلِكْنَا بِعَذَابِكَ وَ عَافِنَا قَبْلَ ذٰلِكَ

উচ্চারণ: আল্লাহুম্মা লা তাকতুলনা বি-গদাবিকা, ওয়া লা তুহলিকনা বি-আদাবিকা, ওয়া আফিনা কবলা জালিকা।

অর্থ: হে আল্লাহ! আপনি আপনার গজব দিয়ে আমাদের হত্যা করবেন না এবং আপনার শাস্তি দিয়ে আমাদের ধ্বংস করবেন না। এসবের আগেই আপনি আমাদের ক্ষমা ও নিরাপত্তা দিন। (তিরমিজি)

ইস্তেগফার করুন: বেশি বেশি ‘আস্তাগফিরুল্লাহ’ পড়া।
ধৈর্য ধারণ করুন: আতঙ্কিত না হয়ে মহান আল্লাহর স্মরণ করা।
সদকা করুন: বিপদ মুক্তির নিয়তে সামর্থ্য অনুযায়ী দান করা।
