Here are 5 things you should understand BEFORE launching a PMax campaign:

✅ Your Search campaigns should already work well
✅ PMax is optional — not mandatory

How I Achieved the Google Partner Badge (Step-by-Step)

I recently earned the Google Partner badge and thought I’d share exactly what helped me qualify in case it helps others here.

From my experience, there are 3 main requirements you need to focus on:

1. Certifications:
You need at least one account strategist with valid Google Ads certifications.

I completed Search, Display, and Video but even one is enough to qualify.

2. Optimization Score (70%+):
This part is often misunderstood.

It’s not about blindly applying recommendations I focused on improving performance while keeping the score above 70%.

Sometimes that meant ignoring certain suggestions that didn’t make sense for the account.

3. Ad Spend Requirement:
You need to manage a minimum ad spend (around $10K in 90 days across accounts).

For me, this came from managing multiple small-to-mid accounts rather than one big account.

A few things that actually made a difference for me:

1. Consistent testing (not overcomplicating things)
2. Focusing on conversion tracking accuracy
3. Keeping campaigns simple and scalable

Still learning every day, but this was a good milestone.
