আমরা অনেকেই ব্যবসা করতে চাই। আবার কারও কারও সারা জীবনের স্বপ্ন ব্যবসা করা। কিন্তু আমরা কতটা যত্নের সাথে শুরু করতে পারি তা। অদূরদর্শী পরিকল্পনা শুরুতেই বাধ সাধে ফলাফল যা হবার তাই। কিছু দিন যেতে না যেতেই ব্যবসা বন্ধ। অথবা দায় দেনার ভারে বিলোপ সাধনের পর্যায়ে এসে হামাগুড়ি দিয়ে চলতে থাকে।কিন্তু কেন তা ভেবে দেখার চেষ্টা কি করেছি আমরা?

আমরা অনেকেই দিশেহারা কি ব্যবসা করব খুঁজে পাই না। হাজার হাজার ব্যবসা কিন্তু আমরা কোনটা করব তা খুঁজে নিতে সিদ্ধান্ত হীনতায় ভুগতে থাকি। কিন্তু আপনি যেটা ভাল বুঝবেন, যেটা করতে আপনার ভাল লাগবে সেটা করেন না কেন? আমি তো চাইলেই আপনার সামনে হাজারটা ব্যবসার পথ দেখাতে পারি। কিন্তু তা তো আপনার পছন্দ কিংবা সাধ্যের বাইরে থাকতে পারে।

আপনাদের একটা কথা বলতে চাই সবার আগে। কোন কাজ করার আগে একবার দুবার নয় প্রয়োজনে হাজার বার ভাবুন। কাজ শুরু করার পর ভাবলে তা দিয়ে খুব বেশী উপকৃত হতে পারবেন না। কারন তখন সময় আপনার সাথে ভাল ব্যবহার করার সুযোগ তৈরী করে দিবে না। ফুটা নৌকা নিয়ে নদী পার হতে পারবেন হয়ত কিন্তু পানি সেচার জন্য আপনাকে সময় তো বেশী ব্যয় করতেই হবে। সেই সাথে ঝুঁকি তো থাকবেই যে কোন মূহুর্তে ডুবে যাওয়ার।

আমাদের অজ্ঞতার সবচেয়ে বড় একটা জায়গা আমরা কারো কাছে ছোট হতে জানি না। নিজেকে জ্ঞানী ভেবে বড় হওয়ার জন্য প্রানান্তকর প্রচেষ্টা সবসময় থকেই। এটা আরও একটা বড় ভুল। কারও কাছ থেকে কিছু নিতে হলে আপনাকে তার কাছে বিনয়ী হয়েই নিতে হবে। আর তার সাথে যদি আপনার লাভ হয় তবে আপনি ছোট হলে কি এমন ক্ষতি? জীবনে বড় হওয়ার একটা ছোট্ট কবচ দিব আপনাদের যদি মনে রাখতে পারেন তবে সাফল্য পাওয়া আপনার জন্য সহজ হয়ে যাবে। খুবই পরিচিত কথা বড় যদি হতে চাও তবে ছোট হও আগে।

আমরা কোন কিছু শিখতে খুবই বিমুখ। কিন্তু কেন? শিখলে যদি আপনার লাভ হয় তাহলে কেন শিখবেন না? ব্যবসা করার আগে যদি পারেন তো কর্মচারী হন সেই ব্যবসার যেটি আপনি করবেন বলে সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছেন। আপনি যদি ওই ব্যবসার খুটি-নাটি কৌশল সর্ম্পকে নাই ‍জানেন তবে ঝুঁকি কিভাবে সামলাবেন?

আপনার বিশ্বস্ত কর্মচারী আপনার কাজে ফাঁকি দিচ্ছেন নাকি আপনার ব্যবসায়ের আয়ে ভাগ বসাচ্ছেন আপনার অগোচরে তা জানতে হলে তো আপনাকে কাজ সম্পর্কে পূর্ণ ধারনা রাখতেই হবে। সুতরাং আপনার ব্যবসা করার আগে ব্যবসা শেখা জরুরী। আর এ জন্য আপনি যে ব্যবসা করতে চান সেই ব্যবসা সম্পর্কে সময় নিয়ে জানুন এবং বুঝুন। প্রয়োজনে সেই ব্যবসা সম্পর্কিত প্রতিষ্ঠানে চাকুরী করুন। তারপর শুরু করুন।

শুরু করার পর পিছনে ফেরার চিন্তা করার দরকার নাই। এগিয়ে চলতে থাকুন। আর একটা কথা পারেন তো নিজেকে নিজে প্রতিদিন অন্তত দিনে দশ বার বলে শোনান। আমি পারব। আমার দ্বারা যে কোন কঠিন কাজই করা সম্ভব। আমি হার মানার পাত্র না। আমি জিততে জানি। আমি পারব। আর কাজ করতে গিয়ে বিফল হলে অথবা ধৈর্য্য হারা হয়ে হতাশা আপনার পিছু নিলে নিজেকে বলুন যারা জীবনে বিফল হয়েছে তারা এইখানে এসেই থেমে গেছে। আমি এখনে নয় টার্গেটের শেষেই থামব। এই আত্মবিশ্বাস টুকুই আপনাকে নিয়ে যাবে সাফল্যের শীর্ষে।
