Daraz Bangladesh, the country's leading online shopping destination, will launch Fast Delivery nationwide on 14 August, introducing a new service designed to deliver eligible products to customers faster at no additional cost to buyers or sellers.

The service is part of Daraz's efforts to make online shopping faster, more convenient and reliable while supporting the growth of Bangladesh's e-commerce sector. Products carrying the Fast Delivery tag will be offered by sellers who have consistently demonstrated strong fulfilment and delivery performance, helping customers identify products that can be delivered quickly and reliably, according to a press release.

At launch, nearly 50,000 products across Lifestyle, FMCG (Groceries), Electronics and Fashion will qualify for Fast Delivery, supported by more than 2,500 sellers across Bangladesh who already meet the programme's performance standards. Daraz has invested in strengthening its logistics capabilities nationwide to support faster fulfilment while keeping the service free of additional charges for buyers and sellers.

Emirates has introduced measures offering customers greater flexibility when booking, changing or cancelling flights to Dubai.The airline has also reduced refund fees for Dubai-bound flights. Economy Saver passengers will pay US$50, while Economy Flex passengers will pay US$25.

In Business Class, refund fees have been set at US$50 for Special and Saver fares and US$25 for Flex fares.

Across the Emirates network, passengers receive one complimentary date change on tickets booked from 2 April, including for journeys connecting through Dubai. Customers may also hold a fare for 24 hours without charge while finalising their travel plans.

Shwapno has expanded its nationwide network to 1,001 outlets, becoming the first retail chain in Bangladesh's supershop sector to cross the 1,000-outlet mark.

Shwapno said the milestone marked a new chapter in the growth of organised retail in Bangladesh, according to a press release. The company describes itself as the country's largest retail chain.

Shwapno said the achievement was driven by the trust and loyalty of its customers, the collective efforts of its employees, and the continued support of its business partners.
