Alongside supplying locally, export was in our business agenda and in 1999 we started exporting to Middle Eastern countries though whole sellers based in Dubai, UAE. However, our marketing focus changed as the local market grew and we found a safe client base with Apex Adelchi Footwear Limited, the second largest footwear retailer in the country. This new venture opened up new business opportuniti

es as we diversified into sourcing raw hide, industrial chemicals and adhesive among others. The proximity of our manufacturing unit, our reputation amongst suppliers and networking were few of the key aspects that led to our gradual success.
