কারো আপাদমস্তক দুঃখের সাথী কেউ কখনো হয়েছে কি? হয়নি,হতে নেই।যা কিছু অসুখ একান্তই নিজের। আমারও এমন কোনো সঙ্গী নেই-আর না কখনো ছিলো!

তবু এইযে মাঝেমধ্যেই দুকাপ চা একসাথে খেতে পারি, এই সুখটুকু রব দিয়েছেন। নিরিবিলি কোনো টংয়ের দোকানে কিংবা আকাশভরা নতুন চাঁদের নিচে-কিছু দুঃখ অবশ্যই ভুলে যাওয়া যায়।

চা-চিনি-লবঙ্গ-আদায় কখনো দুঃখ কমে না। দুখ কমে যায় কিছুক্ষন কথা বলতে পেরে,দীর্ঘ এক নিঃশ্বাস নিতে গিয়ে…
