This setting can make a big difference in lead quality.

Facebook lead forms are known for junk leads (not for all! :D)
There is an option to select 'Open' or 'Restricted'.

When kept 'Restricted', the lead quality was way better than when kept 'Open'. The lead volume might not increase compared to the 'Open' setting.

The 'Restricted' setting would allow only your target audiences to fill out the lead form, while the 'Open' setting would allow those who are not your target audience to see the ad and potentially fill out the lead form (organic reach due to paid engagement).

The irrelevant leads also affect 'learning of your ad account'.

*This is one of the variables for quality leads. You need to test many other factors.
