The process illustrates how plastic bottles are recycled through a number of stages, beginning with collection and ending with the production of new goods.
Overall, there are nine stages in the recycling process. It starts with throwing bottles into recycling bins and finishes with producing a wide range of end products such as bottles, clothes, and stationery.
At the first stage, plastic bottles are thrown into recycling bins. After that, these bins are collected by trucks and delivered to a recycling centre. At this centre, the bottles are carefully sorted into recyclable and non-recyclable categories. Once this step is complete, the selected bottles are compressed into large blocks.
Following compression, the blocks are crushed into smaller pieces, which are then washed. Next, the clean plastic is transformed into small pellets. These pellets are heated to produce raw material. In the final stages, this material is used to manufacture new items including plastic bottles, bags, clothing, and pencils, completing the cycle.
