💡Struggling to grow your presence on Instagram? We know how hard it is to grow your business on this competitive platform. It's practically a full-time job figuring out what to post, when to post, then posting and making sure it's optimized, then following up and making sure you're engaging, then posting stories, then doing that for 30 days straight.
Luckily, at Search Directive we have it down to a science. When we take over our client's Instagram, we stick to a few key rules to get consistent growth and we are happy to share these tips with you.⠀⠀⠀⠀ Diversify your content. Have 4-5 different content pillars that you consistently cycle through. People respond to different formats - get creative with short and long form content, static images, quotes.
💡Post relatable information - Authenticity is the first step to success in this game. Your audience will only follow you if they can relate to you. When you're creating content, ask yourself "Will my audience relate to this?"
💡Upload viral stuff - Head to the explore page for your niche or the popular page of relevant hashtags and see what content is getting a lot of traction and figure out a way you can replicate it with your spin on it.
💡Become a storyteller - Share little anecdotes about how you started your business, how you got your first client, etc. Remember, people like relatability and authenticity.
💡Don't post and ghost - Showing up every day will keep you and your business top of mind. If every day doesn't work, give yourself a schedule. Or do what we do for our clients and plan your content 30 days in advance!
💡Use hashtags - It's the secret to discoverability. Make sure they are relevant to the piece of content you are sharing. Need inspiration? Go to an influencer or a viral post in your niche and do some hashtag research.
💡Check your analytics - Your account has analytics you can check to see which posts do best. Also, every post has its own analytics (tap View Insights on your post and see Reach, Likes and Engagements)!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
